Implemented Profile Songs

Profile Songs
I think you should be allowed to pick a song (either using an application like Spotify or a Youtube link or by directly giving a mp3 file) that only plays on your profile, it won't show the video or anything that goes with the song if it has one it will purely only play the audio from it.
It can have a limit of 2 minutes long and then just goes on a loop after it is over. This can also have a setting to disable hearing music on other profiles in your alerts tab if so inclinced.
I think moderators should of course also have the power to remove the audio from a profile if the song given is too inappropriate (possibly rapping with a ton of cuss words for example).
I'm pretty sure this is possible since matt has something like this where it does play a song and then loops over again (just disable the video porition of that and boom). EDIT: Janice actually has the exact thing I mean with no video and only a song from BTS so it clearly is possible.
If this is a difficult thing to achieve or if you think this can be easily abused either make it so this is a forums premium feature or similar to when you added profile banners that it requires a specific amount of messages neeeded to use one.

What a great idea, I 100% support. People would be straight vibin on my profile page, but with this amount of freedom, I wonder if this could lead to issues with players using inappropriate songs on their pages.

 

Well like I suggested if it does happen to, moderators should get the ability to remove songs.
I don't see many people abusing profile banners or pictures (unless they're removed quickly) with inappropriate images though so it might not be an issue.

I kinda doubt that it's possible for it to listen through an entire audio file and detect a specific word to then tell you that that song you tried to upload is inappropriate. I believe that either making this only for premium users or make a requirement in needing a certain amount of posts and giving moderators the ability to remove songs that go against the rules should be enough of a blockage for inappropriate songs. That's my thought at least.

Fair enough, I totally agree. I think this suggestion would be best as a premium member perk only. With the number of trolls and toxic players out there, its hard to say whether a lot of people will use inappropriate songs, but if it were for premium members only, the margin of players eligible for this perk would drastically decrease. This in turn would not only help make this suggestion something which is beneficial and not another opportunity to be toxic, but it would also make Moderators jobs easier as they wont have to deal with as many people trolling than if this perk were accessible to everyone.

Well of course they'd need to be moderated I did say that pft. And no thanks I wouldn't want my profile to look as crazy as Matt's Everytime I visit it anyway :(.
