optifine

hello admin/mod, do you guys allow players to have an optifine downloaded in theyre minecraft.

 

OptiFine is an allowed mod

List of mods we allow:
-Optifine
-Shader Mods
-Minimaps (That do not show caves or players)

Illegal Mods:
Pretty much anything that gives an unfair advantage in game.

 

What about damage indicator mods as I know a few ppl with those. No no, not me, im vanilla

 

Oh yeah, forgot damage indicators. They are probably allowed on most mineverse servers, since most already have them built in.

if it does allowed so meaning is ok right,because earlier i recieved an error when i open my minecraft i got a something about a mod,but i only use an optifine to reduce lag nothing more.

 

No optifine ain't allowed liek really
It gives you a zoom option and it's like sniping if ur in a pvp zoned
So I don't think it allowed
BTW you can zoom with he Ctrl button below the shift button

@Mandee Rogers i dont pvp XD,and if it does i never use any hak mod in pvp but i know optifine is for reduce the lag spike.

I don't think they'd be allowed, considering how big of an advantage in some PvP games, such as survival games.

I can't tell if that is serious or not...

But anyways, Optifine is perfectly legal. If you recieved a crash error, it most likely was at fault from a fault piece of code in optifine or some other issue.
Nothing to worry about, but the optifine support might be a good place to contact if the crashes continue.

 

Actually, talking to MPG, the Minimaps aren't allowed, as it supplies an unfair advantage on where to go, thus improving strategy (my reasoning, but MPG confirmed it the basis of this post)
