My demotion and Goodbye.

So a while back I got demoted and a lot of people were giving me hate which partially caused my demotion.

Before my demotion I made one or two false bans and people started to hate on me in game and on forums not pointing out names. Because of this it caused me to start to slack off on moderating and I didn't have any motivation to log on.

So after a while after me slacking off I was asked if I wanted to keep my position and I didn't see the message. Someone told me about it and I said I've seen it. I never gave a yes or no and finally was demoted for it.

After that I slowly drifted away from this god awful community. 99% of people cheat and never get banned. Legit people get banned all the time. And everyone just talks more crap about each other than people do on kohi.

I've finally just given up on this server and are saying my final goodbyes and good wishes for everyone in the future.

I recently took up csgo and overwatch (yea call me a nerd idgaf).
I also started playing league of legends and have had more fun on there in a month than I ever did playing minecraft. This community has gotten so bad that you can't even log on without people chewing you out. I've seen kids cry in team speak and skype because of little douches that play this game. So yea if you ever wanna play steam or csgo with me or just talk hit me up via pm on here I'll check once in a while.

Unlike the other two above, I've known you since even before you did start moderating.

So, I will wish you the best in life, because everyone does deserve that. And hey! CS:GO is pretty bloody good so no harm in playing that.

Where exactly did you get that percentage? I'm guessing you made it up.

EDIT: You can dislike all you want Chain, but again, you might not find wool, anvils, spawnkilling and more cheating... Making your own stats better by doing those things are so totally not cheating in any way

 

He probably thinks anyone half decent in cheating in some way, too many false bans recently.

Moderators are allowed to moderate the servers and catch hackers too.

 

We do but we also have lives to live

We report, and we also have lives to live. There are maybe 5 people on this server whom are dedicated to reporting players and helping the mods, but don't get any recognition for it.

 

You probably haven't been banned 3 times the same week by those players either though. And unbanned all three times again. What Cobalt said about incorrect bans are correct. Not all of the dedicated reporters are always right either. They sometimes tend to target people they dislike

 

And I would encourage those players to apply to become moderators

 

That's where the moderators come in.

Personally, I report people as a "second opinion", if the mod seconds my opinion, then that is their doing. It's not my fault that they were banned, the report could have been easily denied.

Yet all the top reports are still staggering around the application section watching people who are not quite so dedicated towards that get the position.
