Mods.

Hi everyone,

Cypriot recently promoted some mods(I think it was 6). 2 of these mods have already been unfortunately demoted and since then some have resigned.

The point of me making this thread is that even still, there is rarely mods online on the servers. I play KitPvP a lot and I walk about finding hackers everywhere. Now to those people who say "record them", I do. It isn't my job to do this though. It's quite annoying uploading 15 videos of hackers, yes, 15, and getting no where. Quite literally, I log on to face the same amount of hackers.

I don't understand where all the global mods have went either. The only global I've seen on this whole week is Larry, and she wasn't exactly on for long(since she's mod on a fair few of crews servers).

Cyp, you NEED to promote more mods across all gamemodes, covering all timezones and perhaps even promote some current ones to global. Take Alexa for example, she is very active and covers the Timezones from GMT+8 to GMT+12 yet she isn't global.

OP PvP is another server. Now, the only mod who was active ish on there was Soul. Soul is now global and he has to handle many more reports so there is no specific moderator for OP PvP.

Factions. Factions has lost Elric now and the people applying for staff on factions is high. There needs to be a dedicated factions/OP factions mod.

OP Prison has mods yet they circle around the American ish timezone. In my afternoons there are NEVER mods online.

My point is not to call mods inactive, it is to point out the gaps in timezones and the servers that are being neglected.

The problem for factions is, the only legible applicant is honestly TurnOffTheHacks and he does not go on the forums too much thus won't get the position.

I find it spectacular that a server (Skyblock.net) has more mods then Mineverse and they have an average of 500-600 people online. Mineverse have over 1000 people online yet skyblock has more mods..

 

Mods will be promoted before the summer break. Don't worry about it. Cyp knows what he's doing

 

How do you know mods will be promoted after summer?

 

I said before. And summer is when most people will be on, more mods will be needed desperately for the increase of players. Cyp knows he doesn't want an over flow to happen on mineverse

 

But you said after summer break. After summer, barely anyone will be online. Mods have to be promoted BEFORE summer break to get ready.

 

xSoulHero is good at his job, he can catch people if you suspect them.

 

Isn't Viper applying and eligible?

 

I doubt he is thinking about that, I hope this thread brings Cyp's attention towards how much mods are needed.

 

I'm assuming he doesn't like or want viper getting mod if you look at what he posted on his application.

It's not easy to catch someone auraing at a grinder in their own base :p Mods can tp on the other hand(at least I think).

 

Mods can /tp to someone they suspect is hacking (afk aura).

xSoulHero barely comes on OPfactions, even if he is "Active" he'll be busy as he is a global mod. I'm not saying he's a bad moderator I think he's a good one in fact.

 

Y'know what. Honest opinion, Cyp should ask some of his mods from SB to be mods on here. My opinion, don't kill me.

 

I disagree. But Krissy is a moderator, that is now taking a break, from SB. Outstanding job there and probably here as well. Haven't seen her as I don't really play Prison.
