It is Pay to Win.

What is Pay to Win?
Pay to Win means you get ANY TYPE of advantage against another person (does not include cosmetics), that means anything (ex. Even a $5 Kit Tempest is Pay To Win).

Why is Mineverse not blocked then, if it is?
It is not blocked, because (in my theory) Minetime had been blacklisted, and Minetime is/was owned by Noobcrew.

Because all of these pay to win items, either you must get rid of them OR you must make the ranks buy able. The ranks should be a very high price to buy in-game.

 

No support, removing kits would make no one donate for mv wich would kill it aswell

 

@Plouuu Agreed. In my opinion kits are practically one of the main reason why people purchase these ranks.. So, no support, sorry.

 

The removal of kits is inevitable, you don't like it and I'm sure the owners don't either, but it's either remove the donor kits or Mineverse shuts down.

This suggestion doesn't really make sense....because it's what will be happening. They've already removed the donor kits from factions and it'll probably be the same way for KitPvP.

 

No support, I didn't buy my rank for cosmetic purposes. I'm okay with donor kits being removed, but removing everything else well... what was the point of even buying Mvp?

Support. However, the chances of this is little to none.

Mineverse's Community is REALLY defensive of there ranks. Not to mention the ranks have hardly been changed in a few months. I think noobcrew would have the server blacklisted by mojang if it meant keeping all his ranked players (Most of the server really) happy and the money FROM the ranks flowing in.

I never paid for my titan rank, I got top voter about 4 or 5 times for my rank upgrades. I also got someone else titan from top voter as well. All for free. Just goes to show you can still win without paying. :>So don't remove the kits. It is unfair on people who worked for top voter for their ranks.

 

I payed $100 for god. But, since what I mostly play is skyblock, about a year and a half ago my friend and I (Idk if he still plays, I forget his name) made a deal that if I build him a huge shop (gave my friend ownership of the island I was originally on) he would upgrade me to titan. I say No support because as previously mentioned, people work their ***'s off for these ranks

I've just read your edit, Buying ranks with ingame money would fix everyone's problem I suppose. Support to make ranks buyable with ingame money, No supports removing all perms.

Buying ranks using in-game money isn't a good idea, unless you're thinking off adding in new ranks to the server as the ones we currently behold are "Donor Ranks".

Key word there is "Donor". As in you donated for this rank. "Donated" to help the server run as well as getting some extra perks.

You are also acting as if they have a choice in the matter. Mojang are the people who are wanting to remove Pay to win from their game, not Mineverse. Any thread like this shouldn't be aimed towards the owners of the server, but towards the company whom own the game.

So, whether anyone likes it or not, it's going to happen either way.

I hate these types of threads - I appreciate them, but hate them.
You don't understand the hassle, complexity, and hard-work - let alone the money the owners put into these servers. Every server Mineverse has is dedicated, and Mineverse owns a lot of servers (very expensive )- if we stop funding, then the server will die. I understand most people are upset about "Pay2Win", but right now, unless we get another 15 thousand players joining, the only thing that is keeping the funds for the server alive, are the "Pay2Win" donor packages/perks.

If you ever make a server, that isn't homehosted you will/would soon understand my point, and will understand that without this source of "Pay2Win" income, the server wouldn't exist.

EULA compliance is annoying right now, and the threads regarding the problem are flooding in, I am sure the owners are in desperate attempt to make the server compliant with Mojang's terms.
