This server really needs a better anti-cheat added... Have you seen the amount of hackers on Hellblock? (Seriously though, a better anticheat would be great for a popular server like Mineverse. The staff could help more people if they're less occupied, and the players could spend less time recording (or complaining), and more time actually playing.)
What about instead of insisting that we desperately need a new anti cheat (We currently use NoCheatPlus) try recommending ones that you think are better. These all have been recommended before. I am insisting we need a new anti cheat because frankly NoCheatPlus is cancer. If it's not as hard as it seems one of those suggestions would have been accepted already, lmfao.
I agree. But the thing is, even if we do get a better anti-cheat, there will still be hackers on Mineverse. The same thing goes for every other server. Sure, a new and better anti-cheat would be great, but there will still be hacks out there to bypass it. The only way hackers could be permanently abolished is if Mojang or Microsoft actually steps into the problem and takes initiative to stop it. Although, that most likely won't happen, and I don't really know how it could be done.
Cypriot has tried to get other sources like I believe Knightfall was one. But he couldn't get it. We just have to suggest ones that he can get and not ones that are hard for him to get like Knightfall and Watchdog.
Anti cheat isn't really necessary. Why not get more mods, give them /v so people can't see them online and add in /report. Much easier than finding a good anti-cheat because people can always get around it by saying it was just a glitch with the anti-cheat banning them and they weren't actually hacking.
mineverse is invested with cheaters lool. I just died 3 min ago by DaViper101 using huzuni kill aura lol. mineverse is broken and I if we keep going like this it wont get better only worse.
