"Leaving threads" attention seeking

    people who makes "leaving threads" makes me pissed. no, not the people who actually quits but the people who returns within 1-2 weeks later! it just creates a bunch of unnecessary spam...

    wtf. that guy is still active

    there are way more people like this but that was just one example.

    in my opinion these "leaving" threads shouldn't be allowed. if someone decides to quit and wanted to let people know, they can just send them a PM or just post it on their profile-wall, no need to create a thread for it.

    thanks for reading, also please post your opinion about this.

    We just need an "outro" section, like the intro section.

    Other than that, I see no issue.

    don't you think it's [Edited] up when someone creates a "leaving" thread and receive [Edited] tons of positive ratings then returns back within 1-2 weeks later..?

    It doesn't really do any harm, and I could say I am leaving, with the intention of leaving - then change my mind, and come back. There is no problem with people saying goodbye, as a lot of them are actually leaving, and it is nice to say goodbye!

    Also, I agree with @TADS4 , there should be an 'Outro' section, where all the goodbyes can go.

    Eh, I don't think these threads should be completely not allowed. That would be dumb.

    I do agree with TADS, we just need an outro section for the leaving threads.

    With your thought on how these threads can be for attention, I have to say I agree. Some players do happen to make an outro to actually leave, so I won't go say it's all for attention and shouldn't be allowed.

    the comment was irrelevant. this is a discussion thread. i never mentioned anything about the server in-game...
    why can't people who leaves just PM their friends about it instead, they don't need to let everyone know...
