Note before you read: This isn't me complaining about lag and for it to be fixed because we all know that's not going to happen. Lately my connection to mineverse (Only mineverse) has been awful, I have been playing the server for a long time and most of the time I don't have a big problem with lag. Now it takes me at least 30 seconds to change for kitpvp to op pvp. Are you using a von or a proxy? That could be the reason your connection speed is slow as it would be being throttled by the proxy/vpn server
Whenever I get this message I just restart my computer and it works. If that doesn't work, I restart my router.
If you have not tried resetting your router and/or modem yet, I'd suggest trying that. There are also websites that allow you to test your connection, and ping hubs at various locations, I suggest using these as a testing tool to investigate your connection. Also consider that, if your physical location is very far from the location from which the server is hosted, then you will likely suffer from high ping and potential connection issues no matter what.
