Highest FPS on Minecraft?

What's the most FPS you can reach on minecraft? my personal best is 5233 with everything on its lowest settings, mc not fullscreen etc

I've hit over 6k with my desktop
Specs:gtx 970 sli with a 960.
I7 4790k overclocked 10 percent.
16 gigs ram.
2t hd

Holy.....The highest I've ever achieved is about 750, but that's with a low resolution and looking into the void. While playing I average about 250-300.

1.6k is the highest I've seen, when I record I get like 1.1k to 1.2k

 

I have such a bad laptop XD
So I get like 40 fps :')

 

With my crappy laptop I'll reach 100-200 fps most the time with optifine.

I play at an average of 200-1,000 (depends where I am)fps. Let me set all my settings to the lowest and see what happens.

Edit: 3k was the highest I got.

I get about 60, max settings. Pretty sure there is a cap on somehow -- as I haven't hit a single frame over 60; even when detonating loads of TNT I stay exactly on 60 frames.

 

You

probably have vsync on. If you disable it your fps should go up.
