Factions Reset

Honestly, no idea. This happens sometimes, happened in kit pvp, prison, infection (with levels), and probably more that I'm forgetting.

As for the reset, it will happen eventually and people know a kit pvp reset is coming and saw him on kitpvp2 so they are assuming that he is resetting factions also. I cannot say this is completely untrue or that is it true becuase I honestly have no idea. At this point it is just a sit and wait game.

I also got reset, along with my brother and many others. I also saw a bunch of facs get disbanded at the same time. (chat was jammed with disband messages).

I feel that cyp or noobcrew should tell us players/mods soon, because now everyone on factions is just pvping, using up all their stuff before it disappears. No one is building bases anymore or starting any new facs, and new players are turned away with news of an upcoming reset.

It would be a shame if it turned out to be just a rumor, a lot of us would be screwed over.

it seems numerous people, including numerous staff, are under the impression factions is getting reset, SOON (not a year down the road)... so cant we have a definite time frame?

I personally would stop playing, which some already have...

So from a financial standpoint, makes sense to not tell us at all... but damn.

Well. Guess what... its a long shot here on this server asking for anything to be done in game modes, but on every server ive been on, when factions gets reset, people can post their coords and a staff can copy and paste their bases.

This is EXTREMELY useful for people like me, with 262 chunks claimed with bases that takes a month to build, with 70-80 members.... I think its very fair to have those who pay attention to the server and forums, to ask for their base to be saved.

 

I agree, but that would be a lot easier said than done. Some players will lose A LOT, but a reset is a reset :/

 

Its actually extremely easy with world edit. That doesnt mean items will be saved necessarily... im talking about the 200 thousand blocks I placed to make my base, that took a month. Its been dont on other servers I was on, takes a couple minutes per base to copy and paste.

Doesnt matter, Im betting this post wont ever be seen by people who could actually make a decision on this matter .

That will not happen.

If the server resets, it's a complete reset. Everyone starting from scratch.
Cyp won't tell you ahead of time because that would not be in the best interest of the server. You don't have to like it, but it's the truth and it's the way it's always been. Making this thread just starts more hype and more rumors.

I hope it does reset. Factions should reset every 4-6 months.

If factions restarted every 3-4 months id leave for sure... makes no sense spending 4 months to build a faction just to have it reset for no reason.

Funny how I made this thread to get answers and, not getting any, as well as people seeing their months of work disappear with zero explanation, has only made donors leave the server.

 

I stated 4-6 months and it's just my opinion.
I also gave you the answer. It's just not the answer you want to hear. No one knows if factions will be resetting(<----- answer again). I would hope it is, but again I don't know anymore than you.

 

I believe that Factions will get reset just as Kit PvP and other game-modes. But if it were to be reset there would be an announcement on the Forums.

 

Just wish someone knew why factions is disabled and my base is destroyed because of it... there has to be ONE staff that knows...

 

You'd probably need to ask Noobcrew or CypriotMerkz for a definite answer.
Since they haven't made any announcements though, I doubt they'd tell you.
Anyway, if you just wait it out, you'll know eventually.
