So, I am frequently uploading reports that use videos recorded by me, Rhythm_Skelly, and put up on my channel. I have noticed, though, that these report videos I make take up some space on my channel (even though it is small, I still try to keep too many videos form appearing on it). My question to the Mods of the Forums is: After submitting my reports on the channel, and after getting them accepted or denied, is it okay to delete the evidence videos off the channel? Or should I keep them on, just in case they need to be used for future reference?

    Thanks!

You can change them to 'unlisted' and keep the link so that they don't appear on your channel. This way only people with the link will be able to access the video.

It's always recommended to keep the evidence only because if they appeal and there's no evidence what can the staff do? Nothing. So It's recommended to just keep them there.

If you don't want your viewers seeing your videos just set them to unlisted so only the people you share the video link with can see the video :P

Keep them, if you delete them the moderators have to unban them, because there would be no valid proof. If they get denied however, sure you can delete them.

I believe that you can delete them after the report is taken care of, but I'm not exactly sure. If you delete them from YouTube, I'd still keep them for future reference But, take notice that you cannot use old evidence.

Depends if the user appealed or not. A mod wouldn't just unban someone right after this happens. The user wouldn't be unbanned unless he appealed or asked for proof.

Yes, please do not delete your videos as evidence. It would be a nuisance to some staff.

Keep the videos for possible future references. Also what Nanurz said, he's the Head-Mod ;)

I believe there was a thread from a mod/former mod that asked people to stop deleting videos after the report was done.

It would be much nicer if you kept the videos on your channel. If we don't have the proof, we can't keep the player banned.

Yeah, it's good to keep them up so either having them unlisted or on another channel is advised. :)

I would recommend keeping the evidence on your current channel. I agree with @Alex to have the videos unlisted or having another YouTube channel.

If the report is denied you can delete the video.

If it is accepted then unlist it.

Unlisted* Private makes it so no one can see it at all, only the creator themself.
