Nowdays its inpossible to kill someone on oppvp cause when someone is on 1 heart your hits dont register. if mineverse somehow wants to keep some of their pvpers they should fix the lag because so many people quit of this issue that wont get fixed. Sorry if this sounded a bit quik and rude or how ever i hope you understand my point.
Don't need a European host. The host used in 2014 gave me about 30ms. When they "upgrade" the host they just end up making it trash.
No Support Just because you live in the EU does not mean anything. They should switch the host, but it should still remain in the EST. Most players are from the US, not EU. Would you rather help out 65% of the people (US) or 20% of the people (EU)
Yes! Let's just give the problems the are having to the Americans, great idea. The reason MV has a host in North America is because that is where the general playerbase is. Giving better connection to the main amount of players is better than giving it to the minority.
This is a false statement. Not 65% of the people are from the US. Almost half the people playing most of the time if they aren't at school or sleeping, it should be 50/50 for people from the US and people from AU/EU/NZ. I do agree that Mineverse needs to fix the lag problem in OP PvP, the hit registry only registers 1/4 of my clicks making it very hard to PvP with someone with good ping or someone with a auto clicker. Then whenever someones turn their back to me I can't seem to hit them unless I am 1 and a half block away from them. All I'm saying is that Mineverse doesn't need to change where their host is but whoever is hosting the server needs to be changed. Every time OP PvP has more than 60 people it gets very laggy. For an example when @Jenn was hosting the "PvP wars" it was very laggy and mostly everyone was dying from lag.
The current host isn't the greatest, for sure. But, the higher percentile of player traffic towards the server are in-fact from the US, therefore they doing the right thing, from a business standpoint and giving the larger group the better connection. I can pvp quite fine on 200 ping, sure 30-40 ping would be amazing, but if I want to pvp with that I can simply enter an EU based pvp server.
