AFR Electric_'s Moderator Application

Preface:

Hello, current readers. I have resigned/left 1-2 months back in March & re-joined as how the community is present. As I am re-applying I will be more considerate towards my actions. I do apologize to everyone for my mistakes in the past & I apologize to Cypriot as well. I've found solutions to my problems & it seems like those problems won't occur anytime soon. I wasn't really planning to resign, although I knew what had to be done. I have been on this server for almost 3 years, and I enjoyed every single moment on the server. I also apologize to Cypriot for letting you down. As this is my 2nd chance of applying as a mod, I will be more thoughtful of my actions.

What country do you live in?: Australia, Sydney.

What languages do you speak?: English & learning Portuguese.

Do you have 2FA enabled? Yes, I do.

Do you have the necessary means of capturing evidence?: Yes! I am currently using Bandicam & I am using the regular way of taking screenshots. I sometimes use Fraps as it is my secondary recording device.

Why do you think you should become a mod?:

I believe I should be a moderator is because I have the knowledge of a moderator's duties. I know how to keep the server or game-mode clean of rule breakers at any time. I hate it when hackers/rule breakers ruin the game and it is annoying for normal players. I've had this experience for years. If we had more moderators, there would possibly be no rule breaker online.

To continue through, I am a trusted person. I do not leak/give any private information. As I was a moderator I kept those private detail to myself & it will never happen with me in the future. I do not lie to anyone and this is not going to ever happen in my time of moderating. I am not unbiased to any player. I have punished/banned a couple of my friends for not doing the right thing.

I know how to handle situations/errors through forums & in-game. I understand wisely on how to work forum commands & the tools as I have been moderating this server for 3-4 months. I know how to moderate correctly with positive manner & I will not need any guidance.

Hackers are one of the biggest & major problems on this server. Everyday people begin their journey to hack on this server. Every day I always think that there's a lack of staff. There are many moderators on skyblock & I feel like as if it's a clean community, but what about here? Most moderators or a few are AFK on the server while players in need, & if I was one of those players, I wouldn't really appreciate what has happened.

Here's just some evidence on what I'm trying to say: Almost everytime I get online barely any staff are online.

Respect is what I keep in mind of every moderator. I love introducing new players to the server with respect and in an honored manner. I like to be friendly to everyone. I do not talk trash to players who disrespect me, I give them warnings & punishments for their actions.

To sum up I handle reports and ban appeals quickly. I know how to give infractions/warning players and their time limit with the ban reason. I'll make sure this community is even better for the players.

How long do you think you can be active on the server every day?:

Weekdays: 2-3 hours.
Weekends: 4-5 hours.

- I could sometimes have holidays, a day off with an important event, school & I could sometimes have an eye sight problem.

Please note that we could all have problems due to our eyesight depending on how long we stay on our computers.

How long have you been playing Mineverse?:

- For around 3 years now.

Have you ever been banned?:

- In-game: I have been banned for using toggle sprint last year, and I don't think I'll be using it again.

- Forums: I have never been banned on forums.

Do you have any experience as a moderator?:

- I have moderated this server once for 3 months & I have been working on a small server.

- I don't see you very active on forums
- You're a well-known member but you aren't exactly well-known? Perhaps lack of activeness on forums? (Did you have any previous names)?
- You were a pretty good Mod, but I hope you'd stay for a couple of months before you re-apply, because the system and community may have changed in certain ways you didn't know.
