dubtrack advertising

wait so now you can be banned for dt advertising (as in she advertised her own dt)??? because thats what happened to @Teeeb and i dont recall seeing any of that in the rules? Says absolutely nothing about dt advertising, in fact Anna created a thread advertising her dt and so did I (on forums). Nothing happened then, we were never warned and it was never discussed in the rules. So I don't really see how Anna can just suddenly be banned out of the blue for "Dubtrack Advertising". can't she get by with a warning not a month ban lmfao.

EDIT: Anna says she advertised on forums which proves that the ban is completely unjustified as stated by reasons above.

 

Who was the mod who banned her though?

By server advertising do you mean like advertising Minecraft servers or your own dubtrack?

I see I see. But does it really justify the fact that she gets banned on forums? Shouldn't it be a DT ban? She says she advertises on forums

 

Sorry, I assumed she got banned on the Dubtrack.

I'd have no idea but I don't recall any rule saying that you can't advertise your own Dubtrack server on the forums, perhaps it was approved by a head moderator. idk

What is failed to be mentioned here is that a warning was given.

Do not advertise any external website or IP that could potentially draw users away from Mineverse. Although, some exceptions include Twitch, Youtube, Crew’s other servers, or other channels.

Mineverse Dubtrack is part of the Mineverse community.

The one month ban will only be set in place if the user is not a spam bot.

Advertising is posting links, IP’s, and whatnot to external websites/servers. Do you have a link you are unsure about? Ask a staff member.


She was lucky to get a warning the first time because the rules do not give a warning, the first time is a month ban, second time is a perm.

 

I gave her a warning the first time she advertised Dubtracks. She did not listen to my warning and went ahead and did it again.

But she advertised her DubTrack before Mineverse even got it's own.

 

She said she didn't get a warning.

We have proof of everything before people are banned and even warned.
