Deleting your own thread

Sometimes we have those annoying threads that we just want deleted but we have to ask to close it and that brings it up to the most recent threads. Then some people just will view it that you don't want viewing it, so maybe we can delete our own thread without having someone to close it?

Edit: It will be like hiding your thread from normal users, but mods will get notifications when it is deleted.

But mods can be very busy so maybe this will create less spam?

This should be a feature - it would give the moderators time to do things like handle reports, etc. Not have to close a thread...
However, you should only be able to soft-delete the threads, not hard delete them - to ensure moderation can still see the threads. :D

This really isn't needed.
If you want your thread deleted, just use the 'report' button below the post.
No one save staff see it.

 

support i have a really cringe mod app that i need to delete but i cant tag anybody to come and lock it cause then it would be bumped so like other people could view it
