You see, I don't take the amount of detail in my application to be a reason not to support me because it's not a valid reason, as my application is perfect. He has also admitted that that is the only reason for not supporting me which has in turn led me to conclude that he is, in fact, supporting me, because he obviously thinks I'm fully capable of moderating this server. :D

It's a valid reason not to support your application. Whether you consider it perfect or not. It's his own opinion. Something that isn't based off the requirements. He doesn't support you for his own reasons. You mentioned that its CypriotMerkz and Noobcrew who have the final judgement. And I completely agree with that. Although what I'm noticing (from my perspective) is you calling out other people's opinions and saying they're wrong. Something I find a little odd. Certainly wouldn't want that in a moderator.

They are wrong though? They are saying my application lacks detail, when it simply does not. There is no opinion about that, only fact. I followed the official guidelines and this is what I produced.

 

An opinion isn't wrong. Their opinion isn't based off the requirements. (something I already mentioned). It's based off what they personally want to see in your application in order to support you. And as I also (already) mentioned; I agree that you followed the template. No point in arguing that.
