As you know Builder rank isn't a thing, I was surprised when I found this out as I see a lot of people asking for new maps on infection and if the mineverse team are planning on releasing new game modes (Skywars, Prison ect) they will need maps. Infection is a big one as right now it is bringing a lot of traction to mineverse but it needs to stay fresh which is why it needs new maps and if sky wars and prison release they will need maps too.
Yeah we have 2 builders on Mineverse. Both of which are paid, meaning they don't make a map unless they're told to or for some reason really want to. The build server is also down and has been for like a year now, so it's not like they can/could make any maps now. They could of course technically go on creative, but that doesn't offer nearly as many build tools as the build server But support for them to make more maps and for the build server to be added back
Maybe a builder rank that mineverse don't pay for could exist as I think a lot of people would want to participate and have an application for it like mod and youtuber
you need to be good. Sure there are alot of great builders here on mineverse but at this point its crew's choice on who to promo to builder.
It's actually up to both crew and the current build team. You need the builders' support as well as crew's to become a builder. And Diggy I agree, there should be a more "public" and "official" way of becoming a builder. Not just PMing builders/crew. No support, we don't need more builders. Nim and Rythen are already doing a perfect job in my opinion.
Support but it shouldn't only be builders who create maps. People should still be able to submit them through forums. But I support the idea of having a builder rank because we really need some skilled builders
