Blacklisting

For a couple of month now Mojang have been blacklisting servers that sells stuff who making Pay2Win. And I dont meen anything mean to Mineverse but i wondered will Mineverse be blacklisted? The ranks give very powerfull gear in-game and that are well against the rules to Mojang, or i take wrong?

What blacklisting are: Blacklisting are that Mojang forbid servers to sell stuff that makes it Pay2Win or unfair to other players. Like also if a server sells OP swords for like only 1$ is still against the rules. That often ment ranks too. Ranks who give abbilities to fly on a game or kits that such OP that default/regular players cant get. That includes in-game money too.

But cosmetic is allowed, servers can offer stuff like pets, trails or fly in the lobby whatever who don't change anything in-game. Servers got 30 days to fix the Pay4Win thing before Mojang close the server. (If they got warnings of course). The servers then need to pay back the players or change the rank so it dont have the OP kits and commands.

Honestly it depends. This server is very likely to be blacklisted eventually, but Cypriot said they will figure it out and that Mineverse will not be shutting down. We just have to trust them.

 

But what will they do with the ranks? Like I'm Titan what will happend?

 

Some servers are making their ranks paid for in-game money. But that means @CypriotMerks and @Noobcrew getting less money for the server, which means the server goes down. If they change the rank so that it doesn't give op commands and kits, then there's no point buying a rank, which means nobody buys them, which means server goes down.

Hopefully, @CypriotMerks and @Noobcrew can fix this.

 

I don't think Mojang will not be blacklisting MV cuz they ranks aren't that powerful, if u don't count /heal.

Yeah I checked and mineverse isn't being black listed

 

You will not lose anything. If they do comply, which I highly doubt they will since this is their source of income and running a server this big can become expensive, you will keep your perks. It will just prevent people from upgrading or from buying ranks. Nothing will happen to your rank or your abilities.

 

Cyp said Mineverse will not shut down.

 

So far Mineverse has not been blacklisted. Let's hope it stays that way. :^)

It most likely will since It's pay2win. But no one knows.

 

They've already blacklisted some servers like the archon.

 

Then there's Infection,Survival,Skyblock,Skywars...
I'd be surprised if we aren't listed.

 

You will keep ranks, but be no longer able to buy them.

 

Hopefully, mineverse is not listed.

 

LOL THIS SERVER IS 100% PAY TO WIN. Wouldn't be suprised if MV was shut down

 

Donors should only get perks, no kits.

 

Yeah but it's not the kits that r op, it's the commands like /heal..

 

its both, really. having a full set of diamond armor in infection really makes a difference.
