BedWars is here! Mineverse was originally one of the first servers to add BedWars at the end of 2014, and we're happy to announce that we're finally adding it back! With even more features than ever before and a re-creation of our old nostalgic maps! Summary / TL;DR; BedWars works the same way as before: - max 24 players each game (6 per team) - you can re-spawn until your bed is broken - your enderchest stores your items for the next game - all the old maps are still here (look at the bottom) The bugs from 2016 have been fixed and a ton of new features have been added such as XP, teamchat, titles, leaderboards, scoreboards, map voting, enhanced villager trading menu, etc, etc. General Concept: Take part in a 6v6v6v6 minigame where your goal is to break all of the enemy beds and take out all remaining players that are left. As long as a team has their bed intact they can continue to re-spawn. You collect materials (brick, iron and gold) to purchase items, blocks and weapons from the villager. The last team standing wins. There are core features in this gamemode that may differ from how you are used to BedWars on other popular Minecraft servers. The enderchest plays an important factor overtime since your enderchest's content save on the map you store the items in. The next time you play on that same map, your enderchest will be filled with those same items. The first time you play a new map, your enderchest will be filled with 1 stack of each resource. Your enderchest is private and is not used as a teamchest. We've also introduced a leveling system to BedWars. In 2015-2017 you received rubies for killing people, but you will now receive XP (experience) instead. You rank up to a new BedWars rank and get more enderchest slots every 5th XP level. A list of all the BedWars ranks will be posted and updated accordingly to what ranks have been obtained in-game. They're all bed/sleep themed and you're more than welcome to come with suggestions. You get XP from winning, breaking beds, killing enemies, voting, finishing parkour and completing achievements. Game Features: - Gain XP to receive custom titles and more enderchest slots every 5th level! - Win, break beds, kill enemies and complete achievements to gain XP! - Bridge to middle to collect gold and purchase better items from the shop! - Same AntiCheat as OP and Kit PvP currently has! - Fixed tons of old bugs from the original like spectator blocking, unbreakable beds and more! - Custom enderchest system that allows you to save items over games on the same map regardless of which bungee server you're playing on! - Track your stats, playtime and achievements overtime and even view other's stats. You can also make your stats private so no one else can view them (except staff)! - Customize how your date is formatted, how you see the time and what timezone you're in! - Teamchat, to chat with only your team mates. (start your message with: ?) - Leaderboards, stats that show who has the highest kills, beds broken, etc. - Map voting, open up the map on the BedWars lobby to select a map. The next map will be chosen based on whichever has the highest votes.
