This year has been amazing! Lots of big things have happened for me on MV this year and Im so thankful for all of you! I thought I would share a couple memories from 2018! ( I will also be talking about a few people who made 2018 a great year for me I wish I could talk about everyone and how much of an impact yall have made on my life but I think this would be like 20 pages long) January I started becoming more active on forums! February On the 27th I opened my Moderator Application! March March 1st I met someone who was soon to be one of my friends. @Accept had commented on my post in which I said it was my birthday on Sunday. He commented that it was his birthday as well! After that we both realized we had mod apps open and became instant friends. He was with me through the whole process of applying and our first couple months as mods. Im so happy we have become friends and thanks for making 2018 amazing. April/May I really cant remember much happening in April or may but I do remember becoming more active and making a ton of new friends! June I met so many amazing people in the month of June. (Maybe it was earlier but I think it was June) I met @Moni through us realizing we were both applying for mod. Moni you are such an amazing person and Im so happy we are friends. She always pushed me to keep on going through all the rough times. Thanks! I also met @i_am_youtuber and @SniffMyToes but I will talk more about them later. And lastly I met @Skype. I remember talking in a discord call with him about closing my mod app. He encouraged me to keep on going and he's the reason im a mod today thank you. One funny memory of June was when I helped tuber catch a hacker on survival. July Gosh July was such an amazing month. July was the month I got promoted as a mod. Also I met sniff and tuber this month. Gosh tuber was my mentor when I got promoted and we soon became friends. Tuber has not only helped me with stuff in game but also in real life as well. He is always encouraging me to go the extra yard and he never fails to make me laugh. I also met sniff. Sniff was repromoted my promo wave. I remember talking to him in game before but never really that much. But once we got promoted we ended up talking a bit more and became friends. Sniff was always there to keep my sprits up and also give me reality checks because I need them often. He was also always there to stand up for me (tuber as well) Thanks so much! I also met some other amazing people like @Scorv @Janice999 and @Quertiss they are always there for me. Thank you! August I hit one year on forums! Also I met some amazing people who were promoted @Purge @Simons4u @Porky @Crosses and @Random they are all such amazing people and really mean alot to me. September Nothing much happened in September. Other than all the fun times that happened in game. like once on op tuber and I were doing a KB stick thing and he was lagging so every time you would hit him there was a delay. I remember laughing so much. October/November My 5th and 6th months of being a mod! December This brings me to now. This month has been amazing as well! Im incredibly thankful for all of you and for all the amazing memories! You have all had such a positive impact on my life and I love moderating so much. This has been such an amazing year! Actual timeline 2013 - OG Times, Server was starting off and it was quickly growing in player numbers 2014 - Server was at its peak with over 1000-3000 active players every day 2015 - Server was still popular but didn't reach as many people as it did the year before. (Still had around 1k active players daily) 2016 - Server was not growing now and it only had a few hundred people on each day. (Which was still good) 2017 - Server was dying and on rare occasions managed to reach around 100 players. 2018 - Barely reaches 50 players (13 players right now) Late 2019/Early 2020 - Death of server (Unless a miracle happens). Shuts down. I have been here since 2014 and I have seen this server go through a lot of changes such as resets, new staff, removal of game modes (anyone remember blocks vs zombies?) etc but I only joined the forums in 2016.
