Okay, I get why it's illegal as it promotes spam and that. I have 2 suggestions for it: (pick your favorite) I believe the message cool down should be 30 seconds, as people are less likely to accidentally post farm. I know 15 seconds is nice and quick, but people end up spamming generally. Remove the post farming rule. I know then everyone would literally spam everywhere then and say 'It's legal so I can do it!', but people who don't care about their post counts get muted quite a bit. Okay, I've wanted to suggest this for a long time.
I don't like either of these. Making it 30 seconds won't change anything. And, it was basically just officially added to the rules because we found it necessary, it won't be removed.
Not everyone abuses it. Making it 30 seconds wouldn't stop the people who do abuse it, and it would just be annoying to those who are just trying to post without post farming.
It would happen less however. I try to post without post farming, I never have intentions to post farm :P I'm suggesting this because of personal experience and other's experiences.
I've seen your second suggestion work and not work on other forums. I really don't care if the message cooldown is lengthened to 30 seconds because I don't think it'll have much of an impact. Neutral.
No support, a thirty seconds message cooldown would be extremely irritating for trying to talk with someone via a profile post.
No support. This would be very frustrating as Chain said, and I also feel that this is absolutely pointless.
