I personally disagree with banning people on creative for skyblock offenses or something, I find it unfair if she's lobby banned. Unless they changed the rules.

 

It depends on what she was banned for, was she banned for hacking?

 

Before I actually look into this, here are my thoughts on this:

Say she was hacking in lobby, the Moderator also needs to ban her on SkyWars since it is basically a lobby now, due to being able to connect with the old SkyWars IP.

I'm assuming the Moderator got confused when banning her on SkyWars and then proceeded to lobby ban her as well.

Or, it could be that SkyWars is linked to the lobbies (as it is now a lobby) and automatically banned her.

 

Like Alex said, skywars is linked to the lobbies. A ban on SW will also lobby ban them and vice versa. Unbanning on lobbies will also unban them on skywars. There is not much we can do besides to unlink and do it manually.

 

Skywars bans are linked to lobby bans.
Crew has decided to keep the domain skywars.com to bypass the lobby and directly log the user on the skywars server. Players were abusing this glitch and bypassing lobby bans to by entering using that ip I mentioned above. Cypriot linked the ip to our lobby so when we ban in the lobby it will ban them on that ip as well.
This unfortunately means the opposite is also true for players who choose to hack on skywars.

It really is unfair to see someone who is banned from one server be banned from the entire network. I hope you get this sorted soon ^~^

 

If you're lobby banned it's kind of a global ban right? Well now if you're Skywars banned, you're technically global banned.

Offenses in the lobby should be global bans, offenses in skywars should only be a skywars ban.

 

why dont you guys just make it like hellblock.net, just make it so when people use the ip skywars.com or skywars.net or whatever the ip is, they will log on the lobby first and then they can use the compass to go on skywars?

 

This thread has been answered, but skywars.com is linked to the SkyWars Mineverse server, so like @Pile , @Alex , and @Nanurz said, to prevent bypassing the ban - they're linked.
Using illegal clients is against the rules - accidental or not.

Skywars is a very popular gamemode, many are looking for a good skywars server - so when they want a skywars server, if they're new to multiplayer servers, they're most likely not going to stick around when they are connected to the Mineverse hub. I think it's just a popular search, and giving users direct-access to the server helps keep players I suppose ;)

 

They are now linked. But I think hacking on any game mode should be lobby banned because there is nothing stopping them from hacking on another game mode.
