Lets all be real here, PWNFilter is absolute trash. If you include any part of a banned word in a normal word, it will block it. An infamous example would be when certain server names were blocked by chat, due to spammers (which in itself was a half assed attempt for a short term solution), the whole word would be blocked. Spammers soon quickly changed font to avoid this, however this left us unable to say simple words. PWNFilter in itself is a very outdated plugin, and a change needs to happen. Fortunately, there is a solution. There is a fantastic plugin called ChatControl, which allows server owners to choose which words get banned, and blocks words that attempt to avoid the filter, such as "s*it" It is a fantastic plugin which is compatable with every version of minecraft. Neutral. Would it fix the problem of it blocking normal words? GrASS, pASS, glASS, etc. They all get blocked.
Support all the way. The chat filter can be quite inconvenient and annoying at times, and people can easily bypass it.
