Hello. Recently, I have heard that owning tomahawks/golden axes is illegal. What I don't understand is why.
Here is a section of the the rules (Yes, it is 2.0):

ArcherPvP:

Swords & Tools:
Owning swords and tools on Archer PvP is not allowed. However, owning tomahawks is allowed.
Owning these items will result in a month ban from Archer.

Now why have people been getting banned for having them if they are not against the rules. Could someone help me out?

 

I'm gonna guess the rules page hasn't been updated yet maybe.

 

I don't know but it's unfair for mods to ban people when its not even against the rules.

 

I agree, they should first edit the rules, then say it isn't allowed.
If they don't, it's sort of unofficial in a way

 

Yeah mods please update the rules page this is a problem.

 

Why are mods banning people with tomahawks. They can even be used in a hitting motion, they can only be thrown. This just baffles me. I thought people were promoted to be a moderator because they knew the in's and out's of the server.

Tomahawks are not the same as regular axes (tool). Tomahawks are throwable items that disappear upon contact with a person; however, due to the fact that the plugin that controls tomahawks has somewhat broken, every tomahawk has become a regular axe (tool) and as stated in the rules : "Owning swords and tools on Archer PvP is not allowed."

 

I have some that are still called 'Tomahawks"

 

They're named Tomahawks but they're axes. I could name an axe "Pickaxe" but that doesn't make it a pickaxe. :P

 

You could name a cow George and that would make him a George.

 

So the Archer Pvp shop sells items that can get you banned? That makes no sense.

 

The only way you can get a golden axe is if you buy it from another player. The sign in the shop is disabled/not working.

But I was incorrect about the tomahawks.

 

But if someone was to ask you what type of farm animals you are selling, would you say "Georges"?

 

I would say I am selling a quality George. I would not really answer his question.
