You can't do anything at all irl such as donating/voting for ingame items/commands other than cosmetic items. Part of the email sent to some of the server owners. If you give anything in return for voting for your server, such as “Vote tokens” or other items, the same restrictions apply as for hard currency (real money). Giving soft currency in return for voting is not allowed. You can, however, have a “vote goal” (similar to a donation goal) and give the same item/perk (cosmetic or not) to all players currently online (regardless if they have voted or not).
I don't know how it comply's with the EULA though It says not to let other people get access to anything that they've made in a way that is unfair or unreasonable, yet everybody can vote, and all of them can only vote once a day.
I heard in a popular Minecraft youtuber's video named "BadBoyHalo" recently that it is indeed against EULA to give rewards for voting. I'm not sure if this is still 100% true but yeah.. If it is, Minecraft is going downhill quickly.
It's because you receive things that are not cosmetic. You're not allowed to do stuff irl for ingame advantages.
Neutral. I'd like to have some more ways to vote, but as stated above it will make some game-modes very OP.
Neutral I support @TADS suggestion, but I'm also unsure if EULA would become a problem if this was implemented. If this can be done without any problems with EULA, and the rewards aren't OP, then I support.
I don't still understand how it is unfair when everyone can vote. That means everyone and anyone can vote, and get the same stuff as one who voted as well.
