-=Preface=- Hello everyone! My name is Smusher328 in-game and on forums, but I also go by Smush. After some thinking over and motivations from some other players on Mineverse, including acquaintances and friends alike, I have decided to apply for moderator. So sit back, relax, and I bring to you all my application, which I hope you all enjoy! How old are you? I am thirteen years old. Your in-game name: My current in-game name is Smusher328, which I plan to keep. What timezone are you in? The timezone of which I live in is (UTC-05:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada) What country do you live in? I live in the United States of America (USA) What languages do you speak? I am able to speak English and Latin (Yes I know Latin isn't used much anymore, but Latin is the root to many languages used today) Do you have 2FA enabled? Yes/No Yes I do have 2FA enabled. Do you have the necessary means of capturing evidence? (i.e. recording software, screenshots, etc) I am capable if necessary to capture evidence with using screenshots and a recording software. Why do you think you should become a mod? I believe that I am capable and should become a moderator because I am truly a kind person to heart and I would like to help make Mineverse and the community on this server even better than it already has become. In other words, I would like to try to get rid of players that hack, scam or break rules to make the experience better for the players. Traits I have that will benefit both the server and the players are as follow: Dedication: I am very dedicated to this server, and also many other activities in real life, such as softball, my schoolwork, and running. I will stay commited to this server when I am a moderator, even through its lows and highs. If it comes to helping make the server more fun and friendly for the players. Observant: I've taken to notice how there are multiple gamemodes that moderators don't usually play on, including Parkour, Minigames, etc. This means that both players who need help and unfair players are not getting the attention they need. For instance, I spend a lot of time on Survival, which gets moderator attention but not the majority of the time I'm on. There have been cases where players were cheating, hacking, or using language and there were no moderators on to act. I have sometimes in these situations gone onto gamemode that moderators were on, but many didn't even react or go onto Survival to check out the problem. If I can observe this, than I will also take careful precision into details or even how active moderators are on each server, to try and create an equal balance of moderator activity on each gamemode. Mature: Even though I am young and my age is usually seen as being immature, I have a much different amount of maturity. I in tough issues or topics can be very serious and usually act like an adult would. When things get out of hand, i keep my composure and make sure that I act in a correct manner. I have seen players who have gotten annoyed or upset over things that are not worth getting bothered by. This however, is not how I act upon problems. Active: I try to be as active as I can on Mineverse. Even when I have a busy and filled schedule, ranging from school and homework to other activities such as softball and running, I always squeeze in time to play and check in on Mineverse. Whenever I am not busy, which includes weekends and late at night, I spend majority and as much time as I can on Mineverse. Kind: On Mineverse and in real life, I do my best to be as friendly as possible. Many people on Mineverse classify me as a nice player. I keep many hateful or angry remarks to myself, and always are nice in chat, in person, and on forums. Yes, there are some players in the community who may not like me, but it would never be for how I act around them. Helpful: Both in real life and in-game, I try and am successful at helping other players out, even if I have just met this player. Whenever a player needs help or has any questions, I try to assist them. For example, a friend of mine, MrScooby_, who now has the in-game name of MrScoobs was trying so hard to get rank [Titan] on the server. I, trying to be helpful since he is one of my closest friends on Mineverse, payed him over 4.5 million dollars in-game to help him reach his goal of 30 million dollars, which would pay for a rank upgrade from [God] to [Titan]. I acted out and did this expecting nothing in return. In the end, MrScooby_ did get his rank. Honest: Throughout my time on Mineverse and in real life, I do my best to be as honest as possible. Even if I have a certain opinion on a topic or issue, I state my ideas even if they may disagree with others, while still trying to tell my thoughts lightly and with kindness. If there is information that I have come across which someone needs, I will let them know. Unbiased: I whenever possible make sure that my opinions or answers are unbiased. This means that even if my friend has something that needs an answer to (Example: A Moderator Application) I will judge them if they were an acquaintances. This also means that if someone I know or don't know is acting out against the rules, I will do whatever is needed, even if this involves banning friends of mine. How long can you be active on the server everyday? I try to be as active as possible, but sometimes I have something important in which I must attend to. Monday: 4-7 hours Tuesday: 4-7 hours Wednesday: 4-7 hours Thursday: 4-6 hours Friday: 4-9 hours Saturday: 7-12 hours Sunday: 8-12 hours How long have you been playing Mineverse? I have been playing Mineverse for around 10 months now. Have you ever been banned in the past? (Forums & In-game) No I have never been banned in-game or on Forums in the past, and I plan to never let it happen in the future. Do you have any past experience as a moderator? Yes I do have past experience as a moderator. I am helping on four servers at the moment. On two of them I am Co-Owner, while on the other two I am a Head Moderator and a Moderator. These servers are all still open, however, one is white-listed and another is offline for a little while. Do you meet the requirements for staff?
