So as everyone know, hackers roam the server, and I often criticize the staff for it, but most of the problem is not their fault, I actually been seeing them handling reports which is good, but it would be better if they caught hackers in-game. It is faster, in terms of not having an extra report to handle and if a mod sees the hacker for him/herself, then they have a better chance of proving a hacker wrong in a ban appeal.

However, moderators can not really do this at the moment because they have at least 15 other game modes to monitor. My proposal is to bring back where moderators only moderator a few servers instead of the whole network. If this was implemented, moderators can spend more time on their assigned game modes and they can be on more often, plus also catch rule breakers when they are online. The mods would also have less reports to handle and it just makes it easier on them at the same time. However, they should not bring back having applicants choosing 2 servers that they would like to moderate, but instead have them pick a group of servers that are similar to each other. These server groups being:

Lobby: All mods should have perms in lobby

      - Kit PvP, OP PvP, and Archer PvP
      - Factions, OP Factions and Survival
      - Prison, OP Prison, and Infection
      - Skyblock, Hellblock, and Skygrid
      - Creative, GTA and Parkour
      - Minigames and Skywars

I made these groups based off how similar the gamemodes are to each and/or how many people are on that server.

Edit: Current mods would stay global mods.

Summary (for those who don't want to read the whole thing):
      - Mods are overloaded with 16 different game modes to moderate
      - Having mods moderate a group of game modes can get more rule breakers punished and they can be active on the servers they're moderating
      - This also takes off some stress from the mods

Side Note: As most of you know, I went off on Jhow, a former mod. As I do dislike him very much for what happened, I still want to help the server and staff improve. In other words, I'm not Anti-Mineverse, and I hope this suggestion can help out the server. Thank you.

Neutral, because what happens if a hacker is on but the only mod on is modding different servers?
      Anyways good luck!

No Support. Some gamemodes would have a lot of Moderators whereas others would have very few.

No support. Some of the staff do that anyways. They just go on the gamemodes they don't wanna do work on so if someone does /seen it shows that they were on.

While it may seem more effective, reports and appeals will pile up, as a mod for that game mode might not be online for a while, and the reports/appeals will not be handled.

No support. Some mods focus on the big pvp gamemodes, where there are hackers and such, and some do their own thing. They shouldn't be restricted to a certain number of gamemodes where they're helpless on most if there's a rule breaker. And what if there was just one mod on a certain gamemode? It would get way out of hand. For example, what mods do you know that hangs out on a gamemode like OP Factions (just an example) all the time? Not all people like those kind of servers and even apply. Even if some do apply, who says they fit the requirements or can handle it?
Besides, what if they're the only mod on and someone asked for help on a gamemode they didn't have perms on?
And as TADS said, reports and appeals will become much harder to handle and would overall be a hassle.

      Exactly.

No Support. Maybe they would enjoy going onto op if everyone didn't hate on them for not doing there joband taking to long to tp, or some other dumb thing to hate on them for, like you did to Jhow. Also /staff would be useless, like lets just say you see @Alex on Infection and you ask her to come on op pvp but she can't, So you have to go find the mod that moderates the gamemode you need help on or wait for the mod to come on.

Not all mods in this old setup (this used to be a thing, but a little different) were restricted, there were still global mods, just less of them. And there would be multiple mods per section, not just one, just to clear things up. My main point is that mods have 16 gamemodes to moderate which is probably hard to do. Since you replied @TADS and you're a mod yourself, do you ever feel the stress of having to deal with 16 game modes when you come online to mod?

I mean, when you're the only moderator on for over an hour, yes, it becomes extremely stressful and annoying.
Especially when people are messaging you to come to multiple servers because of a hacker.
      "Factions, hacker"
      "There's a hacker on prison"
      "How do I use pets"

But, I signed up for this and you learn to deal with it over time.

I guess, in a sense, being a global moderator allows you to become "more-known" throughout the entirety of the community (server)

It just gives you more experience, honestly.

The only reason I wouldn't support this, and don't, is because after doing so much for you guys, it just feels wrong to say, "I'm sorry, but I am not a moderator there and cannot help you"
It just feels so sad, and to read their reply, "oh, well, thanks anyways :/" would just kill me.

But yes, at times, it can possibly become stressful.

No support, it would be annoying to find a mod for the gamemode you had a problem on as there's only a few on at a time :P

No Support. The amount of moderators on one gamemode will be too much, compared to something like Hellblock. It is so much easier as well, because with the lack of moderators on during some times, people don't need to report a rule-breaker, and can just contact a moderator online.

Okay, obviously this wasn't a very good suggestion, maybe I'll come up with better ones in the future. Can you please close this @TADS, I think it's obvious that the community likes the current system.
