As you may know OpPvP and KitPvP are one of mineverse biggest gamemodes.
And ping is an asset for pvp but almost 85% of the people have 4 bars or less on mineverse.
I mean on oppvp maybe 70/80% life in EU but get terrible ping. I life in EU to but when i came on
today i had 1/3 bars for 40 min. Almost everyone has 4 bars like I said.
Dint explain it that clear but I hope that you understand what I'm saying.

I live in EU too. Kinda sucks that I very rarely get over 4 bars.

It's not even about that. Within the EU, we won't we able to really achieve under 150ms (Under 150ms is equal to 5 bars).

Pinging to a host is widely based on location.

I mean, if this server was EU, we would definitely have a much smaller player base.

 

Your calculations are way off with the amount of people who have 4 bars or less....

Anyway, this basically shows why the server is US based. A larger proportion of the server is US based players. I'm fine with 4 bar ping, kind of gives me an upperhand in pvp.

 

I live in the South of the United States. Most of the time I either have a high 5 bar or a decent 4 bar. I liked the old hosts because I'd get around 70ms, but whatever.

 

I've personally never in the last 2 years been able to achieve below 170ms on Mineverse. So, I'm used to it and it honestly doesn't bother me too much.

Sure, 1ms would be amazing, but I don't plan on hosting Mineverse from my laptop.

 

Honestly, if everyone else's ping got higher, then we still have the upper hand, so there's almost no difference.

 

It's pretty hard to get a server which can give good ping to the whole world. Don't think Noobcrew wants to purchase a space satellite.

Honestly. I don't know if upgrading it could help that much. Unless we have 2 oppvp servers with one in the Us and one in the EU, it'll do

That's most likely based on either your ISP, or how many devices are connected to your router.

I currently live in the EU and I get around 4 bars, with 150-300 ping. It can be frustrating at times logging in and such but since this is an American server we can't do much about it.
