Top Hack Reporter of the Month gets a Rank Upgrade

Hello guys, I just thought of this suggestion in the lobby. I think the top reporter of the month (have to be valid reports, can't be reports that were denied or lack of evidenced) should get a rank upgrade.

Why?
It shows dedication to the one player. It will also help keep the server clean, because people wouldn't just ignore hackers if they don't have a screen-recording software. I think this will help keep mineverse a better server.

If top voters get one, then top reporter definitely deserves one.
The reports that count can only be hacking. This is so people don't get carried away uploading screenshots, of stuff that are warn and mute-able. It has to be a bannable offense.

No support- people can reports for swearing, glitch abuse, disrespect, ec.- things that warrant just a mute or a warning and are so common on the server. If it were just hacking reports, maybe, but otherwise people would farm them with screenshots.

 

Well, what is a "valid report?
Neutral, it should be top reporterS, or just anyone above a certain report count since some people have more time to report than others. Oh, and yes it should just be for hacking.

 

I assume valid means like reports that get put into the "Reports: Banned" Archive. It would be nice if it could be for like every game mode hence "Top KitPvP Reporter" and "Top Minigames Reporter"

Well when you just stated that only hacking should be allowed to be valid, that would be impossible for like Skyblock which most hacks are allowed?

 

No support even though the people who get banned in the server sometimes are all innocent u know a lot of people here OR "certain" people do false videos of someone hacking... and for some reason those people who are "innocent" tends to get banned for absolutely no reason, this idea will just motivate players to do lots of "false" videos. Sometimes whenever I look at reports:banned in the archives I see a lot of reports that got accepted when it doesn't even prove anything... sometimes mods trust in people who reports a lot too much that they don't even watch the video carefully to see if the player really hacks... for example this one..http://www.mineverse.com/threads/hacking-reach-anti-kb-tempbanned-tads.92888/ I dont see hacks.. your fov is in quake pro but even though its in quake pro I don't see hacks in that video.. all my prayers goes to the people who got banned for no reason

 

Just because you don't see hacks in the video you provided doesn't mean that there are no hacks. @TADS is usually pretty good at banning hackers and I trust him to do his job decently. And if the player Chu_The_Bacon didn't actually hack then he can appeal as it's invalid. False bans don't usually happen more than once for a player and if they do.. something fishy is going on. You can't really say it's false just because of your opinion.

 

Would support but many people may just accuse anyone of hacking. There is a hack that makes normal people appear like hackers. Most hacks also include a hide GUI button so anyone using a hack could hide there GUI and use the fake hackers hack to gain this rank upgrade.

 

I don't see any issue with it, as long as they are banned reports, not muted or invalid.

 

And you can't really say it's hacking just because of your opinion..

 

When FakeHacker is indeed used it's easy to tell when it's used as the regular killaura doesn't work like the FakeHacker one provides. And the only way for you to hide your GUI is if you restart your client from the last time I used hacks.

It's not just mine opinion.. The banning mod thought so as well, as well as the reporter.

 

Ofc... hackusation are always indeed happening. I played with that guy the whole day a while ago and explain to me how he had hacks when he was getting rekt by methylone a lot of times in the video ?
