That is like saying we should have a whole new prefix for each TZ in the USA. This prefix isn't needed. The current 'EU' is referring to the continent of Europe, not the European Union. It's not like the UK up and left the continent.
Support for UK tag as they are used for time zones. Britan is in a unique time zone. It alternates between UTC and UTC+1 EU iːˈjuː/ abbreviation European Union. EU means European Union. The main and official abbreviation used by governments, military and the tourism industry for Europe is EUR. So laughing at him for getting it right is just idiotic. So the tags refer to countries and continents. USA and Canada are both countries in the same continent of North America. Where as AUS is a continent and "EU is a continent." This current system is just stupid. They should just stick to Countries or Continents. Having them both on there is confusing and sparks things like this thread.
No,what sparks arguments like these are confused kids that have a hard-on for Brexit. It didn't detach from the continent guys.
If you're going to give the UK it's own tag because of its changing time zone then Ireland should get one too, it also alternates between UTC + 1 and UTC + 0 but we aren't part of the UK.
USA and Canada are COUNTRIES. Australia/Oceania and Europe are CONTINENTS. Thing that sparks this argument is that the current Prefixes are retarded as they're a mix of countries and continents. EU means European Union and Ireland is still in the EU. Also the the USA and Canada are NOT CONTINENTS they are COUNTRIES in the CONTINENT of North America. Please read the whole post.
