Maybe you should understand the concept of a logical argument or point of view because I'm perfectly fine. I'm almost positive as well that if Mineverse or Skyblock was down for over a month and you heard nothing from your new owners or what they were doing your community would react the same way.
You're honestly not helping when most of your community comes here and decides to hack or make lag machines on creative.
I have no control over what the Minetime community does and what they want to do. I'd suggest you learn that not everyone you'll meet or will encounter will meet your expectations. You do realize that this would've never happened if your owners made an announcement and/or introduction thread. They've been waiting for over a month for a promised announcement thread, that would take 20 minutes out of their days. They're not asking for anything special. As I recall your community came on our fourms first, though some of you were actually pretty nice, other members of your community inflamed the wrong members of the Minetime community which results in what you're experiencing now with users using modified clients and creating unnecessary lag machines.
Never said you had control of what the minetime community does, but what they do isn't making Cypriot want to work any faster.
So because the Minetime community is doing their stuff elsewhere, Cypriot refuses to put in place a solution that would stop us from doing stuff elsewhere? That's like a business manager not giving his employees their pay checks because they're going on strike when he doesn't give them their pay checks on time.
They know that hacking isn't allowed on Mineverse, but they'll do it anyways to make it worse for us to help you.
As far as I know, only two people from MineTime (Me, and Seb) have made lag machines. The other lag machines are from randies who play on MineVerse. Don't blame the majority of MineTime for it. :^)
You know I'd like to just say, yes we were grateful that Noobcrew bought over Minetime to keep it alive, but that's just it. "to keep it alive". By all means Noobcrew has the right to do whatever he pleases with the server, but couldn't he at least take 10 minutes out of his day to introduce himself and tell us what's going on? In my opinion, if you're sticking up for Noobcrew because he has three servers now and he has to manage them all--well he put that on himself. I'd rather have Minetime die out than have treatment like this 24/7. A good community has authority you can trust and talk to and from the looks of it, we're 'just another server'. Here he has some optimistic Minetime community members still waiting despite everything and there is still no word on the status of the server. Might I add that I have nothing against Noobcrew and maybe he's busy working on another project or something else has come up, but a little reassurance goes a long way.
Most servers have a rule that states "using modified clients are not allowed" and many players are aware of this. Do they listen? No. Most people think they can get away with it or they think it's amusing how others complain about it so that's why they do it. No matter what server you go on you'll find users using modified clients.
Dude we are expecting news from towny (supposedly a new server for mineverse) since December and we haven't got a single word about it. lol
This is what I'm talking about. I'm sure Mineverse is a really nice server, but there is a lack of exceptional communication.
Yes, we're suggesting that they make and announcement thread or let us know what's going on or they're going to loose the Minetime community. If they loose the community buying it would be pointless. There isn't that much of it left.
bro sorry bout minetime bein neglected all these ppl tryna make excuses for it aint helpin either haha im sure its real frustratin support, hope u at least get a lil update soon, even if theres no real progress something to just talk about whats goin on would be cool
It would be very lovely if there was more communication between the owners and the players. I have noticed a slight increase over the last couple months, but it's still kept to a minimal. I do hope that you recieve some news soon.
I don't know why everyone is getting so upset over this, but I definitely agree there is a distinct lack of communication between Minetime's players (Mineverse's as well) and Noobcrew. Hope you guys hear back soon.
