- I am currently trying to get moderator but really I only want the perms on the forums and be able to do reports and what not. I am wanting to apply for forum mod only if that is possible and so @MrParkourGuy Told me to make this suggestion. So you should still have to apply; but you would just get the perms of moderators on the forums and your label could be like "Forum Mod" Instead of "Moderator" . Please consider this! I don't think this is currently essential. The current mods are doing a good job. And you cannot do in-game reports and most of the ban appeals as a forums mod, only give infractions, lock threads and move them. Probably some more, but not many. The current staff is on top of everything. Sorry, no support.
This idea is something highly discussed, but will never happen (as Zamb stated above). I do not support this idea.
Yeah if you had this rank it would be doing the reports and deleting and locking and archiving. That's all; and we would just get unban and ban in game thats all, no mutes or any other mod perms.
Locking and archiving takes a literal 10 seconds. It's no big deal. There's usually at least one or two staff members on at any given time, pretty much.
I do Not Support. This isn't a good idea because the Moderators are doing a good job right now. I don't see the point in this. It's all or Nothing.
It won't work. Is better to be a mod in game and in the forums as well. I think being a mod in the forums only is kinda boring in my opinion. Sorry but no support.
THIS. Reports, when you know what consequence the player has, takes at least a good 15 seconds to edit everything, reply the consequence of the reported player, archive and lock the thread. How would you know when a mod is doing a report too? I'm not going to message anyone to lock my thread for me after every single report. It almost makes the moderators look lazy as you mentioned you would only get /unban or simple commands like that. We can handle everything. This just seems to me another way of someone getting something similar moderator rank without really getting the moderator rank. (ex. "helpers" on the forums) Like Zambiana said, this will never happen. Ok, my little rant on all these "helper/mod" threads are over.
and you can't be a Mod to just be on the forums thats kinda dumb...you have to go on all the mini-games,then check if anyone needs help,then after that u could go on the fours and check the threads and what not...thats what a Mod Does
