When regular players get hit by infected people, they get knocked back a bit. And that is how I think he got up there. That is what I have been told.

 

When you get hit up you usually go a maximum of 1 to 2 blocks.
That's not a 2 block jump...

this is very possible. i seen people get hit like this but they time it so when they get hit they jump in the air and move toward the block

 

i should know i got hit and i jumped at that exact moment so i got launched up to an unreachable platform on accident.
