After experiencing a lag machine on creative today ( 26/06/2016 or 06/26/2016) I have realised the amount of inconvenience they cause to the whole server. Ones such as the one attached below caused lag-back at least every 10 seconds, not just moving, but to type / communicate. We are still waiting for a admin to be contacted which is taking a fair amount of time; despite a moderator being on the server, there was nothing they could do. We all moved away from the machine which was a significant help, however there was still a lag-back from time to time. Should we have a creative admin assigned to the creative server to stop this happening in the future? If you have any opinions or solutions for this please comment below.
Lag machines seem to be a case by case problem, so having a mod assigned there may be a good idea, but, the problem is having one there 24/7.... I don't think this is something that can be implemented without a lot of staff and people that have the time for this though. Because of this, I doubt that is actually a plausible solution :/ Keep thinking though
Moderator's have not got enough permission to remove it. Since this happens rarely, the active creative admin would only need to be on occasionally each day
I agree that this is a problem, however, there is a chance that this permission could be abused... same reason mods don't have /vanish. Aside from that, let's say a head mod was assigned to the creative sever, they came on "occasionally" and left. What if a lag machine is built while they are not on? Then we have the same problem we have currently. Sorry, but no support for this idea. (I'd suggest rotations, but that is quite a lot to ask for and brings me back to my previous comment.)
Head mod's have not got permission to destroy them. And as I said before, the lag machines are rarely built and so the assigned admin would only need to be on every 2-3 hours.
Oh, ok. I thought Head-Mods could destroy them too. If not, then full Support. Head-Mods having the ability to fix (actually break xD) these would really help :D
No, the plugin was installed last week. We just haven't gotten our perms just yet. We did have them before the plugin was changed.
Also, this is a discussion thread to address the issue further, I wouldn't think ' support ' / ' no support ' would apply, no offence.
lol, I know. Just saying for if you made this a Suggestion. (Maybe I should have mentioned that in my comment ^_^)
Once we moved away, some players are purposely staying there to lag the server, a active mod could solve this though.
