Sora Draco's Mod Application

Preface:
Hello Mineverse Players. I have been on the server for a Long time now. And joining forums a few months ago for this, I feel the time has come to submit my application for Moderator on the server.

My In game Name (IGN) And Location
soradraco, I Live In America and follow Eastern standard time.

Languages that I speak:
I am fluent English and know a small amount of French.

2FA and Evidence capturing capability:
I 2FA enabled and have screen shots. I will gain a Video recording system (Fraps) in a Month or so.

Communication:
I have skype and I check it contently. I do not currently have team speak but I can get it if the need arises.


Why Should I become a Mod?:
Mineverse has a lot of problems. We have everything to dupers to hackers to (Insert Anything here) I have seen the server go from # 3+ on the MCPRO server Leader board to well, you know it today. I want to help the server be returned to its former state. Mineverse Was one of the First servers I ever joined and have made some great friends while playing it. I mainly play survival, But I attempt to keep out of the chat to avoid most of the drama/Flame wars that happen there. But I drift form server to server, So I might be anywhere.

Activity and hours.
Depending on the time of year, I can on a good 5 hours.I have a very Flexible schedule so I don't count my hours. But I Am active.

Age, Maturity and traits
I am 15 Years old. some people call me (Very) Mature for my age. Some other things people call me are:

Wise: I dont make rash decisions. I do what is necessary for the occasion. This has proved fruitful multiple times when I was being admin on a server (see below)

Caring: I am, to an extent. I don't baby people. meaning I don't hand out items. I don't build for others (Unless it is a server project or something other Admins/Mods are working on). But I do break up fights, and stop greifings.

Calm under pressure : Some of the things that have happens on the server I admin on that Have been drastic. I try to react as fast and and get the problem solved.

Time spent on Mineverse;
I have spent countless hours on the server starting 2013 (I think, its been a long time seance I started. I do remember the Ice-scating lobby.)

Previous Bannings on servers/Forums.
I have never been banned on any server forums.
I have been banned on ONE server because one of the admins didn't like me. I disagreed on one thing he said. (That the server was the best. He asked for the IP of a server I though was better, I Privately messaged him Mineverse's Ip, I got banned for 'Consent advertising of another server to everyone') . He asked for an IP, and I gave him one.

Previous Experience as a Mod/Admin
Where to begin...

I have been oped on a total of 4 servers, However, I only count one, kings.
2 are servers that never got more than 5 people ever join.
1 is down for good
1 is active. It was small but it was still a server, we had a good 5-10 people on at all times. It is now a private whitelist server that is sometimes empty, but it is played on alot. this server I will call 'kings'

How I got oped on Kings.
I was first give the rank of 'Cop' (Basically Mod, we were not oped and had /jail and /mute) in December 2014. It stayed like that until halfway through 2015. I was briefly oped for small building projects. then I got oped more often to watch the server. then I became full admin late 2015 when I stopped a hacker corrupting chunks (Explained below). I am still oped and working on that server.

What I have delt with:
Hackers: One almost destroyed the server. He corrupted a chunk I was in and wanted control of the server. I messaged the owner who banned him within the hour. The map had to be reset but it could be salvaged and played via single player. I later found out that a player on the server helped with the attack, I questioned him and he got banned.

Flame wars: This happend all the time on the server. Someone wanted this or someone stole this. Most of the time it was just normal player drama we are oh so used to today. there was on time though that one guy joined the server and raided everyone of valuables like armor and tools, enchanting tables, He also took grieing stuff like TNT and flint and steel. (heavy raiding and greifing was bannable at that point in time.) He also refused to talk to me. So I returned everyone's stuff and he got a 1 day ban.

Rouge Admins: I have delt with this numerous times. The first guy was making god items, And I'm talking un-breaking lv 50 enchantments. The second guy was a person that the owner knew in real life. He mainly handed everything people needed to them. Including stuff like Stacks of diamond blocks, and numerous beacons. The third example was a person that set the server spawn point over lava or a pit of mobs/death. so people would die over and over.

Do I meet requirements to be staff?
I think I do. Mineverse is a large server and it needs experienced Mods badly. Some gamemodes like Creative and bedwars are all but abandoned of staff. Others like survival need a mod on there contently to stop the server from going haywire. I have had a lot of experience as a Admin on the kings server.

Which game modes do play most often?

 

I am active on forums. just look around at some of the posts
Anything that i can report already has some kind of report by another person.
And I have not seen you in game either

and Poseidon I often play OP prison and I get onto creative every now and again.

• You literally have 0 reports.
  • Reports are necessary because you will be handling reports a lot if you get moderator. So you need to get in the habit of doing them. It also shows you know what hackers are and how to distinguish hacks.
• Not active on the forums
  • You need to be active on the forums as the forums is where the majority of the news about the server is. Also to see all the latest reports and deal with them accordingly. It also helps to be knowledgeable about how the forums work to know what to do if you become moderator.
• Not active in game
  • Even though we are in the same timezone. I have never seen you in game, which is odd, meaning we either don't play the same gamemodes. Or you are not active in game. In game activity is essential to any would-be Mod or Mod. You need to see rule breakers in game, and help players in game.
• Detail
  • I would advise you detail your application more and thoroughly explain as to why you should be promoted rather than the many others applying. Also, add more traits as the ones you have now are few and very little detail is put into them.
• Add color
  • This isn't necessary, but it makes it easier to read and more visually appealing as well as easier to break down while reading.

If you improve upon these things, I'm sure I, along with the others that have rated you neutral/no support will reconsider and possible support you.
