Prison Changes for Pigmen?

I just heard a few hours ago that in prison pigmen no longer provide mcMMO xp?

Is this permanent change to prison or is it just a temporary change or glitch?

Does this also impact any of the other mobs?

Basically, without the help of our pigmen friends, the chance to catch up with those whom are currently ranked at the top of /mcrank will be far more difficult, if not impossible?

I don't think it impacts any other mobs, but I don't know anything about the rest. @Nanurz ?

Nobody can't grind pigs, they still spawn but nobody doesn't get any xp from them. You can still level up your axes if you're killing other mobs doe..

 

Thanks everyone for the feedback so far. At least I know its not just myself.

Is this a glitch, perm/temp, or an intended change? I have not seen any public announcements about it; but I have not had a chance to go too far back on the MV forum posts yet.

 

I didn't try to grind today, but it must be a glitch from the plugin...

 

The owner I believe has the power to configure which mobs give mcmmo xp and which don't. @CypriotMerks is this a glitch, part of the plugin update or did you set it so pigmen don't give mcmmo xp?

 

Pigmen give no mcmmo XP currently, I don't see this being a permanent change as it makes it very hard for newer players to reach /mctop on PvP skills, hopefully we should see it added again, and if not, at least some sort of buff to the XP from normal mobs, as they are harder to grind.

Yes, only players and other animals/mobs give mcmmo XP currently.

Nope... this is still is not working... I tested this with unarmed, swords, archery, and axes.

Tin15cro were you able to personally test this? I am currently in my grinder right now and I'm not getting any mcMMO xp off of the pigmen.

Perhaps after the next server reboot it could reset it?
