Remove Negative Ratings.

Introduction
During the early stages of the Mineverse forums, CypriotMerks has decided that it's best for the forums to have ratings so that we may express on how we feel. We've all had a laugh about it and enjoyed this new feature but now we realize that some people don't use this feature the way it's meant to be used.

The tiny image below you is an example of another forum.

The said community does not have any positive or ratings whatsoever except for 'like'. I have roamed around their forums and I can see that their community is very nice and polite. This is what I plan for Mineverse.
Of course, we do want ratings so if possible we should only remove the 'negative' ones.

Issue
It has come to my attention that 'negative' ratings have caused a lot of problems. You probably have seen some issues rise lately about this feature being abused. It's good for a time, but not when it reaches into the wrong hands.
Let's all be honest here, a lot of you wouldn't want to get a negative rating; especially a lot of them. Some people have misused them, using it to their advantage. A person who have held a grudge on someone would surely use this to get back at them. We've all witnessed what this can do for now, but we won't know what it can do in the future. It's not good for the players and the forums. So for it's own sake, I suggest that you remove the negative ratings.

That is why I want the negative ratings removed.

Yes, I wish the ratings were to be removed sometimes. So many players abuse the rate system.

Why does it say -112?

 

The -108 was the rate abuse, the -4 was the legit negative ratings...

 

Half of my negative ratings are from rate abusers.

 

I do support it due to rate abusers, but also do not, as it gives the people a freedom of opinion.

 

They should add a reputation system that's much better and that only members can give out a certain amount of negatives a day like 5 Negatives a day you are allowed to use.

Dem alt makers can kiss the touche. They need to start IP banning ONLY.

 

To be honest, i've never seen someone express their opinions with the negative ratings. It's either that they go against staff members or you really hate them and their ideas. 80% of the time, they are being abused. I've seen almost 10 issues about rate abusing, it can cause a lot of havoc, one issue can do a lot of damage to the forums and the victim.

 

What about dem main account that didn't rate abuse doe.

 

If someone makes another Alternate account ban them. Simple. They shouldn't have to make multiple accounts and only have 1. No need for others that's why we got ban evaders on the forums. So they need to get rid of all the ban evaders. Ban every account that's a alt and etc.

 

That's not needed unless they make more after being banned.
