Hello Mineverse, my name is Ariana or as most of you call me Ari. I was encouraged by a few to apply for mod. Welcome to my moderator application, where I’m hoping to earn some supports from the lovely community. I’d like to start off, just like the majority of applications here; for forgiveness from any harm I’ve done to you. I have changed from a sweet and kind 14 year old to a pretty stubborn 16 year old, no doubt. Although, I’m still trying to control myself and you will no longer be in touch with the stubborn me. I realize being a moderator involves having a calm and patient mind, so I’m working on that and as of now I think I’m ready to apply for the role of a Mineverse moderator. As well I know it's not easy to have someone accept your apology that simply, so I encourage you all to take your time. After all, I'm not forcing you to forgive me for my actions. You may hate me all you'd like, but judge me whether I'm fit for a moderator or not.

Whether someone is a new player or old, I answer whatever questions approach them. From asking how something works, to just general life. I'm loyal enough to provide support to anyone and everyone. I answer their questions appropriately, not making fun of them if it's said by an new player. I'm willing to provide help and have the ability to work with others. As well, I don't judge the person who needs support. If they're 10 or maybe even 25 it doesn't matter to me. We're all sitting in front of a computer screen playing the same game, so why bother the age. I've made beyond incredible friends here whom come in different ages but with great personalities, that's all that matters. When there is an irrelevant argument in the chat between players I try to avoid taking sides. I show support to both and try to end the argument as soon as possible. If they feel like the other player is not following the rules, I encourage them to report it at this forums rather than getting mad. I'm open and free to anyone in this community. Not only am I loyal in game, but on the forums too. People have private-messaged me to advise them through depression, which I am a victim of. This proves the loyalty I have in myself that people want to keep in touch with.

I think I'm fairly active on the server. I've never really took any breaks or "quit" since the first time I joined the community. A moderator needs to be active almost everyday in order to their job, and I know for sure I achieve that. I play a lot of the game modes Mineverse serves, as well.

Everyday I spend a few minutes/hours on each game mode and see a lot of you. You can clearly see the activity i have in myself throughout the server as I play, talk, and report players. As a conclusion I'm really engaged in this community by the number of friends I have made and time I've spent here. When I go on a game mode I receive numerous greetings which makes my day.

From the perspective of others and myself, I'm a pretty fast typer. I've been learning how to type fast since I was about 9, so that's where my experience comes from. Being a fast typist is important for a moderator so if someone has an issue they can respond quickly and help them. This is so the player doesn't think the mod is AFK or ignoring them. Having maturity while responding is also important and I believe I can simply achieve that by completing my sentences without having an irrelevant swear word in there.

Yes, I do care for the people around me but when it comes to punishing the people for not following the rules, I'm very non-biased. I punish whoever doesn't follow the rules, whether they're my friends or not. People are people, and when it comes to banning/muting/kicking players it doesn't matter to me who they are. What they did is all that's important. An example would be when I report players, I look at what they did and not who they are. They could be my brother or sister, and I'd still report them for their misbehaving actions. As well when I'm supporting or no-supporting other moderator applications, I judge based on how they behave and how their application looks. To state once more; they could be my friend and I wouldn't favourite them.

I'm quite respectful to my peers, which includes in real life and in game. I do tend to make jokes, but none that would offend another person. If someone says something to me that I don't like, sometimes I'd tell them to discontinue their actions. Other times I'd /ignore them, if it's extremely rude I'd report them, or I'd just get along with my day. I used to have difficulty approaching people who are disrespectful, but after a lot of support from other's I know how to calmly respond to someone's hurtful comment. In real life I'm asked to volunteer in many opportunities due to my kindness and the amount of respect I give to others. Remember though, I'm only informal when I'm with my friends through a Skype call or through /msg. Never really in the public chat.

You could describe as a very responsible person. An example would be in real life, as I'm responsible enough to take care of my youngest sister (2 years of age) because my mother passed away 3 years ago, and she doesn't have someone to look after her enough. Other than my father of course, but he's continuously busy with his job. Along with having the responsibility of taking care of her, I have a cat who also needs an extreme amount of attention. I can put my responsibility from the real world into this virtual one by completing tasks the moderators receive, and doing as I'm told on time. Time management also falls into this because I have my school schedule already set up, so when I get home I can finish my school priorities first then get on with moderating Mineverse for however long I wish. You can see that with my responsibility I'm able to have some family time, be successful at school, and play Mineverse for a couple of hours.

These are just a few out of a lot of the characteristics I have in myself in becoming a Mineverse moderator.

No I've never been banned during my time here and I plan to keep it that way.

No I do not. Although I'm a pretty quick learner and I'm sure I'll impress you all after having some moderating experience with the Mineverse community.
