Scrap the donor kits and use this instead. Prestige One - access to /kit I as either a human or a zombie - includes iron helm and chest, stone sword. Prestige Two - access to /kit II as either a human or a zombie - includes iron helm, chest and boots& iron sword. Prestige Three - access to /kit III as either a human or a zombie - includes full iron armour, iron sword with sharp 1 Prestige 4 - access to /kit IV as either a human or a zombie - includes iron helm and legs and boots, diamond chestplate, iron sword sharp 2 Anyways, you guys get the idea, those kits can be altered and changed in any way the owner's wish to suit the game better. All humans would spawn with a bow but of course zombies would only get a bow in their kits at later prestiges (9&10). People who do not have a prestige would have a gold chestplate and gold boots. The level you are would determine if you get extra arrows, start off with a gapple, and possibly extra pieces of armour. Remember this is only a rough idea, it would have to be perfected before implemented, so it's the idea I want you to think about. Also note that the kits are inevitably going to be removed due to the EULA (as far as I know). I agree with not letting zombies switch out their armour to become op zombies.
Kits don't get removed unless they make away to earn them away ingame also. The eula won't stop servers selling ranks either
Yes but it will stop them selling ranks that will give an advantage over other players in game, for example, /kit elite gives me a clear advantage over a non-donor. This is a way to earn the kits in game and it can be done by anybody.
I play another server what is eula complient and well they found a way to sell ranks without it being unfair. The rank comes in a supply drop, notifys chat. It is eula complient because other people have a chance to steal your rank, this is only allowed if you can buy ranks ingame too.
Sure, they could implement that but it'd make infection less fun, I think my idea would be more fair for everyone and generally make infection more fun.
@TADS I just thought of something. /kit vii was a new kit that was available earlier right? Well, if you haven't noticed that is a roman numeral and if you also haven't noticed the new prestige system is in roman numerals so perhaps this idea of mine has already been implemented and earlier @CypriotMerks was just seeing if the kits worked.
