I was just jailed by @Flazer for auctioning a guard diamond chest plate, I cancelled the auction and the item was returned back to me. I wasn't "selling" it because it didn't go into someone else's possession now did it? Now does this count as "selling" or does it count as auctioning and cancelling? I don't think this is a fair jail, some of you will be like then report it. This is a discussion question, because there's no rule visible in Prison were you're not able to auction guard armor and cancel it. This jail resulted in a 24 hour jail, which is unfair. Question: Does auctioning a item and cancelling it for it's returned back to yourself count as "selling" or just auctioning and cancelling it? If so, they need to make the rule board more specific. Make your opinions below, thanks <3
I agree with you, as far as I'm aware, it's the selling and trading of guard armour which is not allowed. What you have described here is merely proof of possession of guard armour, as no trading/selling took place, I wouldn't jail for this.
That should not be a jail, if the auction ends and someone bid on it, then you could be jailed in my opinion. You weren't even selling it, you were just showing it off, and that should for sure not be a jail.
Well. No idea how rules was made. Rip Uncle. Just wish you good luck. Also, Showing it really also counts as selling it because you auc'ed it but W/E mod says. OBEY. I would stay with @Flazer lol.
So let's put it this way, if a moderator banned you for a unlegit reason you'd just make a ban appeal hoping it'd be accepted? I definitive would not, I'd report that moderator and let Cypriot or a Head-Moderator deal with it.
If a guard was online then I suppose there isn't much that can be done and tbh I think it is at the discretion of the moderator who jailed you aka Flazer. I don't THINK this would be classed as selling it but then again you did attempt to sell it in his eyes by putting it up for auction in the first place. So yeh I agree with you but I understand where flazer would have been coming from.
Auctioning guard armor is illegal and will result in the same punishment as selling/buying guard armor.
That's not proof =/ I never "sold" it, I auctioned it and cancelled it and the item was returned so the item was never sold to anyone.
How are we supposed to know that then? What about if a new player joins and kills someone and they get a guard piece and auction it for money to put towards their rankup? Really that needs to be enforced.
