That's if it even was meant to be. @CypriotMerks care to shed some light on this situation perhaps? @Nanurz could you please do the KitPvP community a favour and pop Cyp a message to grab his attention in case he does not see this? The server is in dire need of a reset, and now the economy is more broken then ever. Yes, the server recently underwent a glitch(if that's what it was) where many people were reset, although there are many people who still have items, such as this, and money galore, which has caused an unbalanced economy. I hope something can be done about this - For the better of the server.
Gizz, Kitpvp wont be reset for a month or so. I talked to Cyp about it in a TS and he says Kitpvp will be reset (Along with a lot of other servers) once MV is following the EULA.
Ha, funny that, it looked like they tried to reset it or something earlier. Everyone was receiving 'welcome' msgs and majority of people were reset. This was after the data overload glitch that reset me and numerous others. Also I created a thread originally suggesting this, stating reasons and we were kept in the dark about it. The community was not informed of anything, so I guess you could say that it is warranted that the community is distressed by the lack of communication. I have heard but rumours of a new map coming, and not even a word about a 'reset' since many seem to believe it had already happened. Telling but a handfull of people and expecting everyone to understand is quite stubborn. I am not doubting Cyp's knowledge, but the extent that his knowledge reaches is unknown, for reasons stated above. I have tried for months now to have servers such as GTA improved - It had potential and yet despite all efforts to have that server improved, nothing changed. Here's another example; what in God's name happened to towny? OPPrison has went thru numerous game changing and economy minipulating glitches and yet it still is in dire need of a reset. The players on OPPrison waited months, and I mean at least half a dozen if not more for Ares to be added. It was one mine whilst the server is broken. Furthermore I do not care how many threads of these there are(even though there is not that many). I simply create threads such as this to achieve a common goal for all of them - To better the server. Quite frankly I am seeing all talk and no action, but that's my opinion. It'd be great to be informed about things especially when I'm the one going out of my way, despite having any physical power to do anything. I am merely attempting to provide the ideas needed to improve the server. Thanks for your post though, but I do believe that my thread is indeed necessarily. I do not mean to be rude in any way.
I recently talked to Cypriot, right now the main focus is getting minetime unblacklisted, and afterwards having the entire network under EULA. Once everything is in order many server resets will take place. Making more threads on this really doesn't help (I speak from experience).
I got reset before this 'glitch' and I got on TS to inform Cyp(which took way too much effort for what it was). I lost a year and a half or more, worth of gathering rares and working my way up. I lost everything on all my alts, dc's full of OP sets, Invis pots, gold galore, 75k+, Swords that were decked out, items of somewhat sentimental value... You get the point. Cyp fixed the data overload whatever the hell it was, which was the glitch. People were expected to just 'deal with it', and so they did. Now what caused this other glitch that you're claiming to somewhat hard reset the server? It reset the servers data on when people first joined. Surely that wasn't just a 'glitch'.
Not true at all, there was no "reset" it was just something with the server that happened. I lost my entire vaults, I just kept my balance for some reason.
If Cyp would like to prevent so many 'threads' from being posted, maybe he should inform the whole community, not just a select few. He has to remember that this community is the reason that the server earns money. It's not hard to take five minutes, which he is getting somewhat paid for, to write up a thread about what in the hell is happening. Is it a matter of laziness?
Yeah well it should've been reset considering that many people were and it has made it somewhat unplayable due to the fact that the moral is ruined..
Ikr we need this fixed its hard to play when you don't have the super op kits like everyone else that have their gear maxed out.
If something doesn't happen soon I fear that people will start to quit MV. And y is only someppl getting told, the whole community should be told.
Agreed, I don't think they should be passing messages like they're playing the broken telephone game. On some profile statuses, they previously mentioned that "KitPvP got reset", and I'm like "waaat"... And then it's pretty confusing now what's going on :P Yes, gamemodes in general used to be more popular.
