Preface: First of all I think I should be allowed a second chance, The difference between my situation and that of every other re applying moderator is I did not resign nor was I demoted for abuse of power or inactivity, I was cheated out of my moderator position, I was not the only moderator who did not have 2FA enabled so what happened to me could have happened to quite a few of the other moderators too however I do accept that I should have set had 2FA set up. As I said in my previous application my name is Stephen I spend a lot of time all over the server now and I try not to tie myself down to one specific server, When I was a moderator I spent a lot of time on the PVP server's as this is where I was needed most but I still made time for other servers such as creative, Skyblock and Hellblock. (i.e. recording software, screenshots, etc) I Do have the necessary means of capturing evidence with the use of Fraps and HyperCam3 for video recording along with Minecraft's inbuilt screenshot function and Gyazo to take screenshots. Why do you think you should become a mod? I could write a 10 page essay on how amazing I am but that doesn't give a true representation of me and my character, I have met many of you in game and on the forums and hopefully I have left you with a lasting memory of what I am like as a person and therefore what I am about to write will just be a clarification of this. Here is a list of the qualities I posses that I believe would and did help me in being a moderator: Friendly I think that now I am not a moderator I have possibly become even more social and friendly with people on the server as I regularly try and create large Teamspeak chats and even now if someone has a problem that I can deal with I will help them out, If however I cannot deal with the issue e.g. something relating to a ban I will point people in the right direction. Active Throughout my time as a moderator I was very active and I would usually check the forums throughout the day so that if a player needed my help I would be able to get to them, I had Minechat on my phone so that If I needed to get in game to ban someone I would be able to. Unbiased During my time as a moderator I had to ban a friend but the thing is he broke the rules so he deserved the punishment he recieved, I don't care who a player is, it could be my next door neighbour, my best friend or my nan, If they break the rules then they deserve a punishment. Confident and resilient I will not allow someone to push me around and pressure me into something and an example of this being evident is when my IP address was snatched within a few hours of becoming a moderator by CIAsnipez, He wanted me to unban him on OP Factions or he would ddos me and I refused to unban him, this led to me being ddosed for a few days but I did not back down, I did not give in. Many moderators will know what I mean here as will many of the players but you do get a lot of hate while you are a mod, player expect you to be in 5 places at once as well as dealing with their ban appeal and their report and more. The hate does not bother me, I know what I am letting myself in for and I do not know if many of the other applicants do, being a mod is not exactly an easy job but it is a job that I want to do. Knowledge and Knowledge of moderating First of all as I have prior experience as a moderator on this server I know how the server works, how xenforo works, How the new ban system works and I would not need to spend much time acclimatizing to a new system as I am already used to it. I personally gathered the evidence on over 150 people while I was a moderator and I banned considerably more than this, I know the rules and I know the punishments. However I not only have an extensive knowledge of moderating I also have lots of knowledge in regards to the servers themselves, as a result of being so active and around for so long I have picked up things which have amassed into a large wealth of knowledge that I am able to share with people that need it. I am putting this in to test people have fully read the thread, just say you have seen the message and you will receive a reward, I will message you with the info. As I said in my previous application which you can see at the bottom, I know the commands even the new ones, I know what the punishments are, I know most of the stuff needed to be a moderator I just need a second chance. Honest If I have ever met any of you in game which I bet I probably have at some point I want you to ask me a question, anything at all providing it doesnt involve me giving away a password, a skype name or any other confidential piece of information, When you ask me this question I promise you I will answer it truthfully and that is because I am honest. If I have done something wrong then I will take responsibility, apologise and move on from the incident because that is the sort of person I am. How long can you be active on the server everyday? I have been a part of the Mineverse community since July 2014 In game and I have been a member of the forums since August 2014. Have you ever been banned in the past? (Forums & In-game) The easy answer is yes I have. The first time I was banned was for having a casino that was not fully stocked back in 2014. The Second was for a fancy chat mod on infection, When I reported a player the moderator who dealt with the report saw this and banned me at the same time however I was soon unbanned for this as it was not bannable. I have also been muted once on the forums for post farming. Finally I was banned on the forums and In game when my account was compromised, I will link you to a thread explaining what happened during this period but within 6 hours of me knowing my account had been hacked I was banned both In game and on the forums and that stayed this was for about 3 days while my perms were removed and then when I was able to get back In game I was re banned on kitpvp and OP pvp after telling Pile I still had my perms until Cypriot was able to come ingame and remove my perms manually. Do you have any past experience as a moderator? I have experience on minor servers that are not even worth mentioning and as many of you know I was a moderator for almost 3 month until my account was hacked and I was demoted, this would almost 1 month ago.
