I just remember back in May of 2013, Giant skype calls. Hacked armour. Hacking. Being a king.

 

First of all there was only 4 parkour levels (IV), second of all there was still lots of hacked clients, just people used them less.

It really went down now, and the whole community has changed. I used to play on op all the time and i do not see anyone that i used to play with on anymore.

 

I wish they never added titan ;_; wish that s25 was still the highest in oppvp lol

 

Survival was more "vanilla" based. It was kind of mixed with "teams" or "factions" with headquarters in the End, people building cannons to destroy them, etc. NASA and ESPA were at war. @Ninja you remember, probably. :P

xD I remember there was a dragon and a chat room. Chat wasn't permitted in the lobby except for a certain area in the dragon you would have to parkour all the way. It was jam packed in most of the servers. I think the new gamemodes ruined the mineverse community.

back when half of my friends hadn't left yet and we had a decent community\

Back when water was allowed.

before dating centers were replaced with sex clubs

before survival games died

back when creative used to max out on players (now theres usually like 20 players at a time)

 

I've been here since late '13, so all I tell you is that we've lost SO MANY PLAYERS. Usually a day would consist of a couple thousand (1-2.5k) players online, now we're down to 150-1,000 players daily. It's honestly sad, we need to get the server population up.

 

I remember when there was a lot of players on, and there was a lot of really good Infec maps.

I also remember when Hell block never existed and when it was 1.7, and everybody actually liked Pvp for once.

 

I remember the ice hub, less cancerous community, and kitpvp's old spawn. old prison... everything was much better back then ;). Oh and instead of god it was called admin :D

 

Honestly, I wish Developers had access to OP. I mean, they wouldn't be Developers unless they were trusted, for real. I'm pretty sure things would be much better if they had OP, but I guess, this is the way it is now.

 

Everyone was literally just on KitPvP. It was just the thing then. There were no cross teamers, it was just /kit and jump jump jump. People liked pvp then. But now there are cross-teamers of like... 2 titans, 3 gods and 1 supreme all together, and they basically only team with high ranked people, which is really just extremely annoying because there's no way you can do actual pvp if they are just camping the patch below spawn.

 

The server was much better then it is now. And being a noob was fun back then.
