So, I joined forums back in February and have noticed that you cannot rate posts/comments on a suggestion page. I was wondering if there was a reason for this. I know personally I sometimes find comments funny or agree with them or whatnot. Were they ever there and got removed? Or were they never enabled?
So having the support, no support, and neutral is a different type and so they other ratings can't be used?
Like, dislike, agree, disagree, funny, and other ratings aren't the same type of ratings then neutral support and No support; dislike like and all others are for off-topic and discussions, while neutral support and No support are for moderator applications and suggestions.
I guess you can only do support, neutral, and no support, as that is the suggestions section. Also you spelling rating wrong in the title ;)
They removed the ability to use the majority of ratings on moderator applications and suggestions for no apparent reason.
It was mainly brought from the SB forums because someone had suggested it there (though, they use(d) @Dewbious ' symbols). I don't remember how they were brought here. If you look a few pages back in suggestions, you'll find a few threads on enabling more of the ratings.
I like how you can rate locked threads like reports, but you can't rate suggestions, honestly I see a lot of funny stuff in some suggestion threads..
So it did used to be there? Ah okay, my mistake. I had not seen it yet. Yea this is why I asked it. I am a bit confused on that lol
Probably a easy way to dislike someone's suggestion, adding to their negative ratings, which they didn't deserve just for making a suggestion people don't find necessary.
