I got put in jail and my dad said I should ask you how to get out. I did not read rules and used an iron sword. It said I was going to be in jail for 24 hours and I have waited longer and I am still in jail.

I would suggest waiting maybe another day, as the punishment timer is very strict. It will not wear off until the exact time one day from when you were jailed.

In other words, just wait for another day and if you are not unjailed by then make another post here and we will get it sorted out

The moral of this story, read the rules.

 

Just deal with the fact you got jailed, read the rules before you do anything.

 

If you only used an iron sword, the max jail time is 2 hours. Are you sure you didnt use flint&steel or lava? That would make it a 24 hour jail? Do /spawn and tell me how much time it says please.

 

Shank the guard on duty and make a break for it at night.

 

Well I'm sure you learnt a couple of lessons here didn't you?

1: Don't use an iron sword in prison
2: Read the rules of EVERY server before you play it
