I just wanted to point out that the new warning system is terrible. Last night on Survival I had 3 players harassing the living crap out of me and triscuitcafe. They said things much like these insults https://gyazo.com/e57e555c66e6ff4a2add2ff933665755 Stuff not included - You're trans Valixta - SM* Valixta - Triscuitcafe you're a blob of cancer - **** off Valixta u stupid *** All of those insults got them warned, I'm pretty sure they never got muted because they were online and kept talking the whole night. The started insulting gay people and started accusing me of being a <blank>. They never got muted. They never got banned. Thanks Mineverse :')
They need to have /warn or something to know how many warnings people have before finally getting muted/banned. The warning system is terrible as of right now.
yeah how about we get rid of "warnings" entirely. totally laid back punishment system, mods are being way too nice.
If people bully like this I think it should be a ban, cyber bullying isnt okay in any circumstances. In this case Valixta stood up for herself but if someone is getting upset they should not be allowed on, they need to be punished.
At first, they get warnings, then mutes, then bans, after continuous amounts of doing such things, but I have to agree if you get warned for standing up for yourself.
This is just the average Mineverse, I got banned for answering a question, I even reported KrissTheDude1999 once for muting me for 2 hours for calling someone a "fking pinger" and told Kriss to do his job, yet he called me all sorts and didn't get warned, I wasn't even warned thats the funny side.
@NoMoreSanity You handled most of my reports, I am not blaming you for anything.. But I'm confused as to why they can say stuff like that and not get muted? Warning them doesn't help, it makes them more aggressive.
They weren't muted. When @StrKillr @PandaBear__ @Payable warned them they never got muted, and when you did, they never got muted. So I'm a little confused?
There actually IS a /warn now. It is our new punishment system. Multiple warns automatically lead up to greater punishments through this new system. We also DO have a way to detect the amount of player warnings. In some cases, we should still mute as there's no point in constantly typing /warn on a player as they continue to misbehave. But, for the most part, I love our new system.
Now I'm on my PC, I'll type out a full reasoning on why these kinda people don't get handled easily. First of all, some mods aren't on due to IRL issues, handling reports on forums, helping people in-game, helping out on forums or watching over hackers trying not to type in-game to say like "(user name) Please be respectful" so the hacker doesn't disable his/her hacks, some mods can do it in /msg, some choose not too, other mods have their own way of dealing with these kind of situations what I find extremely stupid, yes I am agreeing with you that this "warning system" is terrible now, but we can't do anything about it sadly, the only way action is took properly now is from a report, Hackers and regulated rule breakers, yes this may be annoying thing just to take a screenshot, then go onto forums just to report it for them to be warned or mute this way, but if the mod doesn't do anything in-game if him/her is online then the only other opportunity to get this user punished is a report.
