The staff get disrespect either because half of the community believes they don't deserve Moderator or they abuse. Other not those two its just them having a bad history.
Staff get disrespect on every server, Wbc. Every mod deserved their position, the community cant say they dont because if they didnt they would have never got the position as mod.
Ehhhh. I don't agree. Not all of the moderators are valid to be a Moderator to me. How did Inefable get mod and he got so much hate then please explain.
All the mod's get hate, if a mod doesnt get hate they most likely are going to "easy" on someone, and acting like a "chill" mod but the mods are given a list of things to do from what I know and they need to stick to them, the mods are doing everything correct otherwise they would be demoted.
Alright. I've probably joked around about this before, but I'm going to be 100% honest about this now. Staff get hate. We all know this. But we have to sometimes notice why the hate exists. I know it's irrelevant, but I've been a mod on another server that used to be good around the 1.3 times (good 'ol days). It was very painful and difficult to keep up with other players, so I've stopped trying to become a mod ever since. It's painful because sometimes people don't understand the severity of the issue they do. I've joked around, telling people to "step on a lego", because it's 'fun', while others will probably go around telling mods to go and drink bleach because they gave them a warning or something. Firstly, that's a warning. Secondly, such a thing shouldn't even have to come to be because if you actually cared about your actions, you wouldn't have done it in the first place. I am NOT in ANY WAY saying that I've never been muted before, because I have, but I am saying that my actions and others' actions are degenerating and aren't worth being said. It's almost a "test" for a mod, which like in real life, is a struggle for most. About a recently brought-up point; "They didn't get picked to be a mod" Let's discuss that. If you were chosen to be a mod, that means that the players with the higher powers (like pile or cyp) have decided that it is YOU that is/are wise, helpful, respectable, mature, and is able to handle strong situations. By getting angry that you didn't receive the status of being a mod not only makes you stupid, but also reinforces the proof as to why you didn't receive it in the first place. By getting angry, you are proving that you are immature, not able to help the community in such a way that benefits us all. By getting angry, you are showing that you could not [in that situation] handle the event that took place. On the other hand, by responding kindly, maybe explaining that you were/are grateful for being given the opportunity to make a mod application in the first place, you are showing maturity in the situation; something that some of the other failed applicants clearly do not have. How does this relate to hate? Mods are NOT punching bags for your inconsiderate thoughts to be sprayed at. If you're actually taking the time to rage over a game, no offense, I really think you should change your mindset and perhaps take up something else that isn't on minecraft, mineverse or perhaps the gamemode itself. Mods are NOT robots. They know what you feel. Most will understand what you think/thought of when you were denied your mod application. Mods most likely would have been rejected before, probably more than once. They decided to take the time to apply for this server specifically, and they have succeeded. It is NOT up to you to suddenly have a disgust for them Mods DO infact support player opinions. Many "regular" players do not realise this, but mods aren't inclined to stick to just muting, kicking and banning. They DO realise that you do good, and some, if not most, will congratulate you on it. I've had several mods tell me how good I've been doing, and you cannot say, unless you are one of the most hated players in the entirety of minecraft, that you have never been supported by a mod before. It just doesn't happen. I'm not in any way or form at all hating against players that do this. I only look down upon you in shame and disgust. It's not something we should be doing. Sure, I've been muted before, but the fact that I was muted allows me to adjust and realise what I'm doing is wrong. Sure, maybe I've released my anger out before, but I don't lash out against every single mod, infact I can only recall one time in which I've lashed out against a mod before, and it was quite a while ago. I have matured. If you truely believe that you have been wronged, there is no point of getting angry or making such a fuss out of it. 1) It means you're proving yourself to the mods that you're not necessarily 'important' to them and that they should not waste their time trying to explain themselves to you. 2) It means that you decide to waste your own time, when they probably aren't even listening to you. 3) Maybe they're not too experienced. Ever thought of that? One does not simply [meme intended] become amazing at being a mod at first glance, and I can almost garantee that if you were chosen for mod, you wouldn't be such either. 4) Instead of wasting your time arguing, why don't you counter their mute/ban? If you think they're being abusive, file a mod report. It's not hard, it literally takes a quick recording or a few screenshots, and it doesn't hurt to do so. 5) If you have decided not to do any of the above, maybe you're just overreacting, and you should realise that you aren't even in the right to do it. Just take the time to think about why you were attacked in the first place, and then come back, better than before, and just slow down. Mods don't need to feel your pain. So don't give it to them.
