False banned my little brother and you don't know what hacks are.

 

There are different types of hacks. I'm sure she'll learn. She isn't just some copy of Albert Einstein you know?

 

Well I didn't do the false ban, I recorded because people on op told me he was hacking I found him and recorded, the staff wouldn't false ban someone if it doesn't look like there's something wrong.
So tell your brother to appeal, I'm sorry for his ban.

he got unbanned because the mod saw it wasn't hacks and so if someone tells you to jump off a bridge you would?

 

That sentence just make me fall backwards in my chair because I was laughing so hard. Rodeen doesn't have any commands to ban people, the mods do. All she did was record someone who looked like they were hacking (not saying he did or didn't) and made a report. It was up to a mod's decision to ban your brother, not Rodeen.

So please, don't get upset at Rodeen for trying to be a good person by reporting hackers, be upset with the mod who banned your brother for "false" hacks.

Take your frustrations elsewhere, and don't try to get back at Rodeen by giving her a "no support" just because she did what anyone should have done.

I'm going to elaborate on my support a bit, just to explain my opinions;

I remember when you first joined Mineverse as this really kind, and outgoing member of the community. Gradually, though, I watched you be morphed into someone you aren't really. Like I had done before; you became a bit toxic, and made a lot of silly mistakes. That's what you did though. You made stupid mistakes and you hit a bit of a hard time, which we all do at some point really. That's what makes us human.
I've seen some progress since then, and so have others. I really believe you have the potential of being a superb moderator if you keep learning from your mistakes, and maintaining a positive attitude towards everyone. ^_^

No of course its not that, my false ban wasnt my problem. I did the right thing and reported someone who I thought was hacking, im sorry he got banned but thats no longer my issue.
And yes stay on topic, no off topic comments are needed here, @Janice999 correct?

 

Yup, you are correct. Everyone get over this "false ban" it was once. You don't think she might have learned from that mistake? (Not saying you did it, Rodeen. Just making my point clear) She is an amazing person and she would never do something like that. I think I commented yesterday, but I support. You are an amazing candidate.

On the subject of false banning:

Rodeen is a player of this community who simply wants it to be a better place. She wants a better experience for herself, and anyone else who chooses to play here. She saw a player who looked suspicious, so she recorded that player. Just from her reporting, doesn't mean this user will be banned for it. Mods do in-fact watch the video, believe it or not. A lot of the time they will also ask for second opinions from the rest of the staff team. If it's sought out to be valid, then the ban will be placed. If the user still believes they were falsely banned, they are entitled to appeal to be unbanned, seen it they have the right proof to back up their statement.

Don't hate on players like Rodeen who care and are trying to rid the server of rule-breakers. That's what we want here. That's the whole point of moderators.

She is trying incredibly hard, and more than most. She deserves this position. Sure, she's done some regrettable things in the past, but if you put that behind you, and look at her now. At how much she has improved. You will see that she is not only willing, but is dedicated to gain this position and would be a loyal and dedicated moderator here. She deserves this position more than most and I personally would love to see her be promoted. Good luck, Rodeen.
