<~•~> Helloooo lovely people. I've decided to make a small guide to the players who just joined forums because I remember my first days on forums, where I was basically clueless. I've decided to make this (correct me if I'm wrong if someone else has done this) because I always hop into different sections of forums seeing new members struggle at times and ask questions and I've just made this little guide. ;) <~•~> Welcome to forums, young grasshoppers! ^u^ To all those new people, there isn't any goal or any challenge in forums you have to accomplish. Just have fun! There are different sections in forums where people discuss and talk about different things. For example, the 'Suggestions' section is basically all explained in the title. People suggest things that can enhance or help the server. Of course, some get accepted. Below, I wrote down the meaning of the sections. <~•~> General News and Announcements- In this section, the owner and co-owner announce new things that have been added to the server. Like the top 5 voters who have voted for the server throughout the month. Doing this, you get upgraded. For example, I'm premium and I'm top 2nd, I get upgrade to MVP. Any rank lower than MVP gets upgraded to MVP. If I'm Supreme, I get upgraded to God. Not only that, but the server also announces new things that are added ingame or the new discipline fraction, etc. Introductions- Here, you can introduce yourself to the community! But, never give out personal information. You can talk about your favorite tv shows, food, your pet names, etc. You can make it creative by adding colors, using italics, anything! Don't add anything inappropriate or not kind friendly because this can influence others. Discussion- In Discussion, (where this thread was posted haha) people and moderators tell about the new things added (Similar to News and Announcements). @Nanurz has posted a thread about the rules, which before you post anything or create any thread, you should be cautious and read the rules to swivel around bans. People also make threads about some things that were temporally removed or something that needs to be fixed or discussed about. Don't put anything off-topic because then it will be moved to the 'Off-Topic' section, which I will talk about later. Suggestions- As said in the very beginning, people post threads in the 'Suggestions' section, suggesting bugs to be fixed, new ideas, etc. Don't start spamming the suggestions. You can also bump your suggestion every 24 hours, making it looks 'long lived.' :p Happy suggesting! Off-Topic- One of my favorite sections. Here, you basically post anything not related to the other sections. You can post picture, gifs, videos, anything! As long as it's appropriate! You can even start a trend or virus as @Torch has down many times. In-Game Support Moderator Applications- In this section, you apply for Moderator. There is a template where you use to apply. If you don't know yet, Moderators are people who help keep the server clean, friendly, and dignified. As said, don't ask a staff or anybody to look at your application because it just makes you look desperate and it'll lower your chances. Good luck. c: Ban Appeals- Here, if you get banned on a gamemode, you appeal. The moderator who has banned you will handle your appeal. No normal member can look at any appeal as they are private and only Administrators, Moderators, and Developers can only look at them. If your appeal gets denied, don't start raging at the moderator who has denied your appeal. You can appeal again in 2 weeks. Report- Here, if a player is showing no respect of the rules, spamming, flaming, cussing, etc, you report them using the correct template. Moderator do not accept cropped evidence, so if you have your evidence just zoomed in on chat, it is invalid. Don't make a report without using the template saying "omg plz ban this player!! she is very mean!!!!" because it'll just get denied. Reporting people helps the community become clean. Help- If you have a question or an issue, you post a thread here. People and moderator reply has soon as possible and when your issue or question has been solved/answered it will be locked by a moderator. Don't post anything irrelevant or off-topic in this section. (( Note: I didn't include 'Archive' because all the invalid, copied, or asked to be locked threads go there and I've already explained the sections. )) <~•~> Hope this guide helped! I just included the sections of forums to help the new members of forums. If I forgot something about the sections, tell me and I'll fix it. Thanks for reading! ~
Good Job on creating this thread, this would help new members quite alot. I wish someone posted a guide when I joined xD
