Why do the forums keep going up and then down? 2 moderators said we were getting hacked/ddosed. Is this true?

 

Mmmm.... I don't have much background knowledge about this, but since it's up now... I'd assume it wasn't hacked xD

Who were the Moderators?
And I don't think this is true, but they were down just a few hours ago, and it said Internal Server Error, as well as website is down, so not too sure. Hope it isn't true!

 

Actually, it's because we keep getting angry kittens which force the forums to crash. I also get "Error [Random Number]. But the forums are always back up.

 

The kittens are very angry :(

Someone is generating robots to connect to the server all at one time, approx. 9k last time it went down.

 

The host would probably have ddos protection. The ip of the website comes from 3 different states at one time: Arizona, California and Illinois

 

I'm in Arizona.

 

It has happened like 3 days in a row.

 

Kittens are getting greedy and keep coming back for more :(
